There have been hundreds of blog entries on the 6th anniversary of 9/11. This is part of what I find is a great contradiction. While our “leaders” use the events of 9/11/2001 to justify their often criminal actions, these same people expect us to simply accept their explanations of what happened that day: “stop asking questions you conspiracy nuts”. So they want to keep using 9/11 at the same time they are wishing it would go away.
Well, it’s not going away. Sifting thru dozens of 9/11 posts leads me and many others to conclude that “the truth will out”. Many people that have accepted the “official conspiracy theory” for years are starting to discover the truth. From various polls it appears that over 50% of the people in the US have serious questions about the “official story”. These people are unified in recognizing the need for a new 9/11 investigation.
Unfortunately, this is another case of the people being way ahead of most of our “representatives” in congress. There are a few exceptions like Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul (see the patriotsquestion911.com link below). We are going to have to work hard to get a new investigation, but it is essential to the future of our country and the world that this crime be exposed.

Want to guess how many politicians, how many lawmakers in the United States agreed with it? Want to guess what they had in common?
Or how about a government program that persecutes political parties, or minorities, or journalists the authorities do not like, by putting them in jail, even torturing and killing them. Nobody would approve of that, right? Guess again.

How would delaying a vote in order to placate the Republicans be any different than “stalling it on partisan grounds?” How long should we stick with a failed policy just to allow the GOP senators time to feel comfortable about doing what’s right for America? How many soldiers should America tolerate sacrificing while GOP senate aides channel their inner-Frank Luntz and write a series of Friday press releases? 100? 200? 1,000?
How many limbs is it OK for our troops to lose while Mitch McConnell figures out how to save face? How many more terrorists should we be OK with breeding in Iraq? How many more billions of dollars should we be willing to spend?
How much deeper should we dig the hole we’re in before the Washington Post decides it’s no longer “irresponsible” for Harry Reid to make life awkward for Bush’s minions?’
The time to speak up is right now. Not next week. Right now. Tips on how to do so here………………

If you follow this blog at all you may have read the mighty tekstone’s post ‘Outlaw Racist Flags’. It’s quite a popular post attracting multiple hits every day. Why that is so is a matter of some debate. Me…I think that from the search terms used, yes homer we here at BRAG can see what you started out looking for, think that people are looking to buy racist flags. But, it’s not really clear. It could be a lot of things.
After giving it some thought I decided to take a different perspective on this. As you know we have a most unusual election shaping up for President in 2008. We have a woman running and….
A black man, Senator Barrack Obama, who is currently nipping at The Hill’s sensible low-heeled flats, and who is according to the CW proof positive that our nation is no longer in the grip of Goober from ‘Bama and his racist brain-locked neandertalism. You see current polling ‘tells us’ that Americkkkans are quite, quite willing to vote for a black man for President. and Hillary too for that matter but equality between the sexes ain’t what this post is about.

The New York Daily News is reporting today that the FDNY and former Mayor Giuliani are “at odds” (heh) with each other over both his insensitive treatment of first responders in the immediate aftermath of 9/11/2001 [inside job] and his cold-shoulder withdrawal from this year’s International Association of Fire Fighters forum.
Rudy really cannot afford too much bad news in his quest for the GOP nomination. His checkered past reads much like a passenger-side mirror on your car: objects are closer than they appear. For more of this R-rated story, check out the 27-page excerpt from the massive 450-page study conducted for the Giuliani campaign in 1993 (c/o smokinggun.com) entitled, “RUDOLPH W. GIULIANI VULNERABILITY STUDY.” The document is very entertaining, as it lists some of the many, MANY vulnerabilities of this candidate. A selection from the Smoking Gun:
“The confidential 450-page report, authored by Giuliani’s research director and another aide, was the campaign’s attempt to identify possible lines of attack against Giuliani and prepare the candidate and his staff to counter “the kinds of no-holes-barred assault” expected in a general election rematch with Democratic incumbent David Dinkins. As he tried to win election in an overwhelmingly Democratic city, Giuliani needed “inoculating against” the “Reagan Republican moniker,” the vulnerability study reported. “The Giuliani campaign should emphasize its candidate’s independence from traditional national Republican policies.” The final six words of that sentence are underlined in the study.”
Here’s something to keep in mind from the preface of the study, itself:
“The readers of this vulnerability study are urged not to dismiss or take lightly any of the negatives discussed in this document. Taken together, the negative issues presented in this study offer a compelling argument against electing Giuliani mayor.Rudy Giuliani has plenty of inoculating to do on several fronts. Most notably, Giuliani is vulnerable on his Republican Party affiliation, his participation in the police rally, his flip-flops on various issues, the reversals of many of his major convictions and his reputation for overzealousness.”
Oh, wait. I didn’t even get to any of the good parts…
“MARRIAGE/DIVORCE: Giuliani’s personal life raises questions about a “weirdness factor.” Giuliani was married to his second cousin for fourteen years. Although the marriage lasted for a long time, Giuliani had the union annulled on the grounds that he did not get the proper dispensation from the church for the marriage. When asked about his personal life, Giuliani gives a wide array of conflicting answers. All of this brings the soundness of his judgement into questions — and the veracity of his answers.”…
DRAFT DODGER: Giuliani received special treatment from a friendly federal Judge to avoid military service during the Vietnam War when thousands of less fortunate people were dying. Then, as a member of the Justice Department, he hypocritically prosecuted draft dodgers.
While many of his classmates and friends were risking their lives on foreign soil, Giuliani used his connections to obtain an occupational deferment. After serving in the ROTC until being rejected for physical reasons, Giuliani sought a deferment in 1968 and was rejected. A year later, the draft board received a letter from federal Judge Lloyd MacMahon, and Giuliani receive what experts consider a rare occupational deferment. (New York Post, 6/11/1989)”

The MSM obsessive coverage of Anna Nicole Smith’s death today is making me sick. The very worst part of it is not the fact that they are milking the misfortune of others for their own gain or the fact that they are turning a very somber event for a very torn-up family into a circus. No. The worst part of it all is the fact that they are calling a two-hour long obsessive media circus “Breaking News.”
The “Breaking News” is that she died today after collapsing in a Hard Rock hotel in Hollywood, Florida. There is no news yet of the cause of death, and we are waiting for a press briefing from the officials at the hospital. An autopsy is expected to be performed tomorrow. End of story. That’s it! That’s the “Breaking News”! What would that take? All of say, two minutes? And then a five minute long retrospective of her life: Guess model, Playboy Playmate of the year, married 89 year old millionaire who died shortly after, sued by family, son died last year. Done!
Breaking news is NOT a two-hour long boring, repetetive recap of her whole frigging life! That is NOT “Breaking News”!! Then to have Nancy Grace – that horrible vulture of death, that haggard feeder of carion, that vampire witch that she is – do a show on Anna Nicole Smith for her own profit!?! Let’s not forget that it was a high and mighty Nancy Grace that accused Ebay of profiting off of Jean Benet Ramsey’s murder when someone sold something on its stupid site. The goddamn nerve of that bitch, Nancy Grace!
The state of News and Main Stream Media in general in this country is Pathetic and Disgusting! I’m going to go vomit now.
