Dear Readers,
Merry Christmas! I want to share a great message from Pastor Miles & his wife:
| Dear Rock Church Family, |
| On behalf of Debbie, myself, and the entire McPherson family, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas! If you’re anything like me, you might be wondering, “How is it already the end of 2024??” This year feels like it’s flown by, and maybe for you, it’s been a mix of joys, challenges, and even a few unanswered questions. Perhaps you’ve faced moments this year where you’ve wondered, “God, where are You in this?” Maybe you’re wrestling with uncertainty about your future, or perhaps you’ve found yourself asking deeper questions about who God is. Let me encourage you with this: God cares deeply about every detail of your life. He’s not afraid of your questions. In fact, He invites you to bring your thoughts, your doubts, and your hopes to Him. He’s ready to meet you right where you are, with grace and love. How do I know this? Just look at the manger. The manger is more than just a Christmas decoration—it’s a powerful reminder of who God is. It tells the story of a God who left heaven to walk among us.Do you ever worry that God feels distant? The manger reminds us that He drew near to us, stepping into humanity so He could know us and be known by us.Do you struggle to believe God could forgive you? The manger points us to the sacrificial Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world (John 1:29). In the middle of the busyness of the season, I want to challenge you to take a moment to pause. Close your eyes and picture the manger. As you do, I pray you’ll encounter a fresh revelation of God’s incredible love for you—a love so profound that He would send His Son to be born into this world for you. Let’s commit together to making 2025 a year where we see and experience the love of God in greater ways. Praying for you and your family this Christmas season. We love you, Rock family! God Bless You, and Merry Christmas,Pastor Miles and Debbie McPherson |
Also! Here is an awesome message from Dr. David Jeremiah, entitled “The Forgotten Man of Christmas.” It’s about Joseph, his role in Mary’s life, and much more can be learned about him in this awesome message!
