Currently without a camera, at least I have my phone (which is not a smart phone so quality is not so good)... I had to get a picture of Bryce in his Sunday suit. I have had this suit since Bryce was 3 months old, got it on sale for $3 at Target... Shirt and Tie included! I love this little boy!

Cub Scouts
If you didn't already know, I am a Den Leader for a group of cub scouts. In the past year, my group has dwindled from 14 to 3 boys. The smaller group makes outtings much easier to manage. Today we went to one of our local fire stations. The fire fighters were awesome! They let the boys climb in and around the trucks, try on their gear, and have a small glimpse as to how cool it is to be a fire fighter. The boys had a great time!
China Town and a little SF
Mom and Aunt Jane came into town. Luckily we had one day of nice weather, and we took full advantage in San Francisco. I love it when people want to go to Chinatown. I really do feel at home there. I love the poh pohs (little old ladies), the smells. Well, I don't exactly love the smells, but I love the time in my life that they remind me of.
Here are a few pictures of things I love about China town:
The pharmacies
I have never seen this before, but I almost bought it. I kinda love it! I settled for a snapshot.
I don't really like eating authentic Chinese food,
but it does bring back fond memories of my mission.
After China Town we did some touristy stuff then drove home via the Golden Gate Bridge.
Sacramento Train Museum
Bryce loves this place, so we got a season pass, which also allows us to bring a guest with us. We invited Doreen and Hayden... One conversation led to another, and we ended up with three cars and one big happy caravan to the train museum. I love big open spaces for little kids to run around, and plenty trains for Bryce to enjoy!
I love this picture of Alli! You can't help but smile when you see her smile and excitement!
Doreen and Brooklyn
To be honest, I'm a little surprised they knew what to do with these,
More beautiful weather, friends, and a picnic. Perfect day!
Gorgeous Weather!
It was just gorgeous the other day... We just had to enjoy it!
We blew bubbles, kicked the ball around, picnicked, it was awesome!

It's done! Officially!
We left this corner cubby as a play place for Bryce... But we decided a year was long enough and put the door on. My eyes had grown so use to a white corner that I am still adjusting. As you can see, the addition of the door only made the play corner better!
I also went back and forth with curtains and what I wanted for this window over the sink. I love looking into our back yard, that's deep enough I don't feel like I'm allowing too much view to our neighbors... But right when I'm making dinner, especially in the summer, the afternoon sun is hot and blinding. Curtains were too bulky since most the time they'd be open... It now seems so obvious, I don't understand why it took so long for me to settle on blinds. I love them. I never thought I'd say I love blinds, but I love them!
One ingredient ice cream!
Honest to goodness, all you're looking at is bananas. My mom foudn this recipe online, we made it and I loved it! We added strawberries on top, but the ice cream itself was 100% bananas!
Bryce took his first lick and asked, "hmm, banana?" ... I took lots of pictures that night, here are a couple favorites:
Statue of Liberty
Yes, Bryce shoved the last chunk of cone in his mouth. And I suppose the only thing about banana ice cream is, if there's residue left on your face, it's grossly similar to a snot-faced kid. Yuck!
Too bad all ice cream isn't this healthy!
Evidence of a two year old boy
This isn't the first time Bryce has been fascinated by unrolling the toilet paper.
Just the first time I decided to take a picture. This is how we found him.
This is Bryce's favorite place to hide. It no longer holds blankets because I got tired of picking up and folding unused blankets up off the floor... every day... multiple times.
Ty took the child lock knob thing off the pantry door a few days ago. Yesterday he put it back on. Some doors are better left closed, and locked if not supervised by an adult. Why does it make me so happy when the dads get to learn these lessons firsthand?
Mom-Nissa
Since Bryce has started calling my very good friend Anissa, "Mom-Nissa" , I felt she needed to be on our blog, so Bryce can always remember his first "second mom". Didn't we all have one of those at some point in our lives? Anyway, we had a big group surprise Anissa for her birthday! Anissa is loved by so, so many people, especially me!
Sophia was taking the picture, and she told us all to say something I can't currently remember, but apparently I was the only one who followed directions.
I love Sundays
I love Sundays, especially with 9 am church!
Bryce is never grumpy in the morning, he loves nursery, and I love that we get to spend the time together, whether it's at church or the hours before daddy comes home, after church.
After church today, on our way out to the car, Bryce tripped and got an owie. That must have been one nasty pebble. It was the littlest thing, but apparently it hurt bad enough that nothing could touch it, not even his pants until I had it washed and bandaged. Bryce walked around for 20 minutes with one pant leg up.
