Score: Zach -2 Tara -0

I guess this blog is about 5 months late but since we have just started blogging again just put this one on the tab.

I asked Tara to marry me in September and obviously she said yes since it would be pretty awkward if we were still dating if she said no...we will keep everyone up to date on when but it will be this year for sure. We've dated long enough now it's time to handle business!

Score: Zach -1 Tara -0

Tara didn't believe me about Zach the lego maniac commercials. Can't deny this proof!

Coraline

We are really excited for the new movie Coraline to come out this Friday! It looks like it's going to be a good one! If any of you are as bored as I was you should check out the interactive website...you can make pictures of yourself with button eyes, create your own flowers in the garden area and explore Coraline's house. Basically nothing blog worthy has happened in our lives lately and this is the best I could come up with. So enjoy!

Here is Zach's button face
and here's mine
This is Zach's flower, he named it Wilty Lion
Here is my flower, her name is Toogle Bud
and here's my other flower Vikky

I believe I can Fly

This is what I saw out my window when I woke up this morning! Good morning bald eagle! Well actually I saw him after I noticed a bunch of feathers falling from a tree, the eagle was in a different tree eating all the baby birds in their nest, that part was sad but after he was done eating the babies then I thought he was cool.  He stayed in this tree for almost 2 hours! I think I finally scared him off when I was trying to get closer and closer to take pictures. After the eagle was long gone all of the birds swarmed back into their trees, it was crazy to see how none of the birds would go within a certain radius of him. Needless to say, we didn't let the dogs out this morning!!
Can you see him at the very top of the tree?

I actually almost had an awesome picture of him right as he took off but I was zoomed in too far and only caught a glimpse of him...so this picture is a few seconds later it's the only picture I ended up getting of him flying. He got pretty far super fast! It was really cool though when he took off you could hear the woosh woosh sound from his wings! (I think that's the sound birds wings make lol)
We've also had a bunch of geese hanging out lately, however today the eagle scared them off too! We actually walked right past a fox a little while ago as well...who knew so many critters lived on the golf course!

Call me crazy...

So basically if you haven't heard yet I'm completely in love with Pygmy and Nigerian Dwarf Goats! I totally want one for a pet! I spent over 6 hours the other day googling everything I could find about these little goats! Now this part might be slightly debatable but I've read you can actually even potty train them just like a dog, and they can even walk on a leash! Zach said there is no way I can get one because they are considered livestock and the neighbors would tell on me (now that isn't the only reason he gave me, but that was the only semi good reason I heard lol)... but anyway that's when I said what are you talking about? The neighbors won't even know I have a goat! (Zach) What in the crap are you talking about?! Of course they will, they will be able to see and smell it! (Me) First of all only males that have not been fixed stink and I plan on bathing mine anyway and secondly they won't see him because mine is going to be a mostly indoor/slightly outdoor goat, I'm planning on potty training it!! :)  (Zach) What?!!! An indoor goat?!! but Tara, it's still a goat!!! Needless to say he thinks I am completely nuts! Actually he probably thought that even before the goat thing, so really this shouldn't be all that surprising! lol Hey Zach, just wait until I unexpectedly "find" one in the backyard, you'll change your mind the minute you see the cute little thing!

This little black baby Nigerian Dwarf goat is the one I want! Isn't he cute!! Look at that little face!
Plus this little goat looks just like my dog Odie, he'll blend right in with the pups! The neighbors won't suspect a thing!

P.S. Yo G-ma this post is dedicated to you! :P  ...I'm just waiting for your phone call to tell me how nuts I am, how much you hate goats, how much they stink, how mean they are, to say... TARA absolutely do NOT get one and again tell me how nuts I am!!! lol I Love you Grams! ...actually make that, I love you Grams and goats!

I'll keep everyone updated on if one of these goats ever randomly "sneaks" into my house! :)

Cocked, Locked and ready to Rock!

Me and Zach finally took our Concealed Firearms Permit class today! It was so awesome! So if any of you are interested in getting your CFP here's the link to the one we went to. www.cfpofutah.com Dex Taylor, a Logan city police officer is the certified instructor who teaches the class. He makes it really fun and educational, and a huge bonus is that they take care of everything during the class; fingerprinting, photo, copy of drivers license, notary stamp, and even help you fill out all of the paperwork. So basically once the class is over all you have to do is put a stamp on your envelope and stick it in the mail. After the class you also have the option to go to the gun range and practice. Dex teaches these classes all the way from Logan down to St. George. Anyway I highly recommend taking this course and if any of you have any questions about it I would love to answer them for you!

The picture of the gun above is actually the one I got awhile ago! It's the first of my collection, hopefully there will be many more to come...(like next week) I have to wait to see if they can order in the one i want.

Gangsta Flakes

Kind of crazy, it snowed today! I thought I moved south, but apparently not far enough!! So enjoy our hopefully short lived snow adventures...Palm tree anyone? Me and Zach in our jackets...not prepared for this weather!

It looks like I'm either freezing my butt off or I'm about to pee my pants...
Just to give you an idea of how much snow we have so far...(for any of you that don't know, this is a ton for St. George considering it's not suppose to snow here)
Marley, Wally & Odie loved playing in the snow!
Zach playing with the pups
The birth of our little snowman, Gangsta Flakes...

Right across from our driveway
This was mid snowman, we could barely feel our feet & hands...look at our poor little red noses
Blurry view from driveway

Gingerbread House

Zach totally suprised me today with something I've been wanting...A Gingerbread House Kit! (I don't have time to do it any other way, I needed the kit) Here's the beginning stage of my house, I was kind of suprised that it was actually standing at this point. Here's the finished product!

I had to take pictures really quick after finishing, Zach is already trying to eat it!
