The High School Graduate Claimed He Received High Acclaims in the Debate Competitions, His Volunteer Hours are Now, Questioned, the Yangming Transportation University & Taipei Medical University: the Data Were Incongruent with the Facts
With the second stage of college application beginning, the news of after a student getting into Yanming-Transportation University Medical Department, members of the online community blew the whistle on the student’s falsifying the learning experience profiles, sparking up the debates. Based off of understanding, the student had applied for the medical department of Taipei Medical School and Yangming-Transportation University, and the medical departments of other universities. The universities hosted the recruitment committee conferences yesterday, and, confirmed that the student had, falsified the records, and, tossed out his acceptance.
The Yangming-Transportation University stressed, that the university values honesty and character education, it didn’t matter if it was a careless error, or if the student intended to try to cheat the systems, he will shoulder the responsibilities for his own, behaviors, the university hoped that the student can take the experience as a learning opportunity, that there are the subject-specific exams, and other entrance exams that he can take. The high school where this student attended stated, that it will continue to counsel the student, assist him, accompanying him, and hoped that the society can give the student more space.
Based off of understanding, the student, A had been accepted to four medical departments of Chinese Medical University, Yangming-Transportation University, Zhongshan University Medical Department, and was on the backup list for Changgang University Medical Department. The student shared his own learning process profile on Threads, with the mentioning of earning the high honors of the “best debater” of an elite debate competition cup in high school, but the members of the online community questioned that the student did not get awarded the best debater, that he was only, awarded the excellence mark for a round of debates he’d attended.
The professor from Central University, Hu questioned on FB, that the student’s records showed that he’d volunteered at the daycare for elderly for 296 hours total, based off of the eight-hour workday, he’d had to volunteer for thirty-seven days, and the daycare centers only operated for around twenty days a month, that meant, that the student would need to volunteer for two months straight to get the hours recorded, questioned that how can a high school student find that much time, that it may also be, falsified.
And, this ought to be, a HUGE lesson for this, originally accepted to medical department KID, that he should NOT try and scam or cheat, because he will get caught, and get his acceptance, tossed out, because NOBODY wants someone who cuts corners in their school, and, if you work in medicine, and you are cutting corners, it will harm your patients, or maybe even, cause your patients to D-I-E, which will jeopardize the reputation of the hospitals which hired you, and you will, get FIRED, even if you are, one of the famous physicians, with the reputable statuses of excellent surgical skills or whatever. Let this be a lesson, to ALL who think that they can, scam or cheat their way out of working hard for what they want to, get, this is WHAT you get, when you cut corners!
