As the Political Parties Battled for Control Over the Government, We the People are the, BIGGEST, LOSERS

How the political parties are too zoomed in, on, fighting each other, that they’d forgotten, the WELFARE of WE the people is the MOST important thing, that we the people, need them, to stop dueling, gunning at one another’s, throats, to get this government of ours, functional again…and, we the people are still with the, SHORTEST END of that, STICK! A country, split, and it does nobody no good (so???)…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
Many of whom I know of late, steered away from the news channels, because, all that’s on are the fracturing of the country by the parties out of power and the party in power of control of the country. The lost of control inside the legislature, with the major scale protests outside, this is definitely NOT what should be happening in a democratic, country. What made me regret the most, is seeing all the nominees of the Grand Justice getting, cut off from the list, this showed how democracy was, turned into, a battle for control of power of the state in this, country.
We keep on priding ourselves that we’re a democracy, and yet, the news that played of late, it’d caused us all major worries of the country, falling apart, fracturing. There are bound to be different opinions, different beliefs of the political parties on running the countries, but still, the differences should be resolved using more peaceful means, and in a democracy, there should be that acceptable middle grounds that everybody can agree, to.

like this, the two political parties, fracturing the nation up…image from online
The malicious fights that are ongoing between the parties out of power with the party in power of the government, causing the government to be too distracted to focus on the needs of the people, and so, none of the parties comes up with a way to resolve the matter of the skyrocketing housing costs in this country. There’s the enormous gap between the rich and poor of the country now, and it seemed, that the government can’t find an effective way, to raise up the earning capacity of the low income homes. There’s also, the serious problems of the differences of levels of education, the children of the distant region territories, are at a lower standards of learning compared to the children living in the urban regions.
On all of these issued, the politicians, no matter what party can come up with a working solution to, with everybody focused in on the sole matter of politics. But for the ordinary citizens, the problems of our every day life that’s, what’s, most, important; if the disputes, disagreements of the party in power and the parties out of power continues like so, the basic living needs of the people, may not be taken care of anymore.
I hope, that all the “big heads” can understand, that we the ordinary citizens, are the, BIGGEST losers of your fighting to gain control of power of the government.

But do these, politicians realize that? Of course not, they are all, power-thirsty, forgot, that the purpose of these offices of government is to serve WE (and we still are, aren’t we???) the people, and yet, because this is how politics work, you stab me, I stab you back, and the vicious cycle of trying to gain control of power still, keeps on, rolling, rolling, rolling, nonstop, and we, ordinary citizens end up, at the, bottom of the, P-I-T-S here, but do they care? Of coursed not, they’re all, completely, blind to the power struggles.

The Government Led by Lai Causing the Constitutional Crises, the Key to Why the Resolution Supper Went Bust

How the DDP behaved like a big BABY, when things don’t go their ways, and how thankful, the legislative branch wasn’t KIDNAPPED by this AUTHORITARIAN political party, and our lives aren’t totally, SCREWED, Y-E-T!!!  On how the DDP tried to bend the laws, to their liking again…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

To resolve the deadlock in the Central Government’s Budget, the “resolve meal” that’s been brewing for a long time, ended up bust on the eleventh, the key is on how the Executive Department refusing to compromise in the making up of the budgeting of prohibiting the natives from chopping down the trees in the forests.  Since the DDP lost majority in the legislature, it kept stating how the laws passed by the parties not in control of the government in the past are “unconstitutional” as an excuse.  Problem is, the Executive Department’s unwilling to accept that the legislature has the final decision right of the laws signed into effect, this is the major crisis of the legislature.

the FINAL attempt to find the resolve of the national budgets that still went BUST…video from YouTube

The prohibiting of the natives’ cutting down the trees in the forest was in accordance of the forests that are a part of tribal territories, that if the forests stayed untouched, then the natives will receive a bonus of $30,000N.T. a year for the preservation of the forests, causing the wood and bamboo grown in this country to not be used reasonably, and resourcefully, not only does this law affect the related industries, it also doesn’t go with the international advocacy of sustainability to reduce carbon emissions, this is, worth, discussion, the legislators of the DDP even stated that this is the metamorphosis of the pork barrel legislation.  There are the major problems of the proposed legislation, but the Executive Department never set the evaluative or the amendments to the fitting timing of the tree cutting.

The more concerning, was that it wasn’t just the legislators of the parties not in power, the DDP legislators, Wu, and Chen proposed similar bills too, and in voting, Wu and Chen both voted yes; and this year, as Chen became the head of state, he’d also consented that the legislators of the DDP can, be elevated more, giving the legislators the expectations.  It’s just, that the head of state after Chen stepped down (or the government) holds a different opinion on the matter, nor did they talk with other political parties, and just allowed the bill to pass.

It doesn’t matter how debatable the compensation bill of the banning of the forests being cut down by the natives is, it was, passed after three rounds of voting and reading by the legislature, and no longer the proposed bill of the legislator, Kao-Jing anymore, if the executive agencies find the bills hard to implement, it could object, and not allowed the legislation to get passed, isn’t this how the DDP acted, after the passing of the legislative reforms?  And in the end, the government of Lai didn’t do a thing, no second the act, no proposals of an alternative, nor talked to the legislative department to try and find a common ground.

Until the budget got tossed back by the combined forces of the legislators of the KMT and TPP, the DDP knew that it wasn’t good, first, they’d, blamed the two parties controlling the legislature, said that they’d bullied the DDP legislators into submission, but never mentioned, how some of the legislators of their own party affiliate had voted yes for the bill to get passed.  Then, started, making a ton of the proposals that will get the budgets to not get passed, that affected the social welfare of the people, structured the false information.  But, the tossing back of the budget proposals is only reviewed by the procedural commission of the budget committee, demanding the Executive Department to reevaluate, and edit, this had happened before, on the forefront, the DDP became, inactive in doing nothing, and toward the end, it’d, worked hard, to mislead the people.

the DDP lost FORTY-FOUR rounds of voting of nullifying the legislative reform act…photo from online

As the total inquiry of the budgets on the eighth in the legislature, the legislator, Kao-Jinig pointed out that the laws passed by the voting of majority of legislators are valid, Cho responded, “Committee member, if you asked for $120,000N.T.s, does that mean, that I have to, accept your, asking too?”, Kao-Jing stated, “you’re full of crap”.  Cho responded, “full of crap?  Then, why did you, propose this this time?”

Actually, the answer is quite, simple, if Kao-Jing increased the budget asking to $120,000N.T.s, and if the legislature had passed voting, of course the Executive need to, follow the votes.  Or, if we go by Cho’s claims ,the Executive Department can pick and choose what it liked to implement of the laws passed by the legislature in the future?  Then, why would there need to be the opinions of the people, why not, turn the legislature, into a subsidiary of the Executive Department instead?

On the issues of legislative reform act, the DDP loved rebutting using the unconstitutional claims, and used it as a reason for means of interpretation.  Without realizing, that the Executive Department’s not accepting the fact that the legislature has the right make the decisions to set the laws, that was, the key of why the resolve conference went, bust.

So, this is how the DDP attempted to bully the legislative department into doing what IT wanted the laws to do, but, thankfully, there are some legislators with BRAINS in the legislature that wouldn’t allow the DDP to enforce the laws that they wanted to implement, and this still showed how the DICATORSHIP political party is completely corrupt, that it will use all means possible, to get the bills that are in their favors to pass, and this will keep on being a long-term tug-of-war between the executive and the legislative branches of the government here, and eventually, the country will get, fractured, all because the DDP wants things their way!

The Scholars Worried that the Oligarchic Government May Cause the Standstill in Conflicts

And, although this means, that the president elect, Lai and the DDP may have a difficult time, getting whatever bills they want to pass into law, because the DDP is the minority in the legislature now, and this might be good, because, then, we the people, will not be under the totalitarian dictatorship of the corrupt DDP, given that the KMT and the TPP can come to agreements on the issues which will be voted on…the strange situation of politics here, in Taiwan right now, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Systems of Passing the Bills Getting Struck Down by the Legislature May Recur Repeatedly in Our Futures

The cabinet members of the president elect, Lai is coming into people’s, concerns right now with the DDP with the minority members of legislature, and the other two parties making up the majority of the legislature, Lai may need to consider a union of members of his cabinet.  A forum was hosted, discussing the challenges, the selections of possible members of his government, the forum’s scholars and legislators all believed, that this is with a very low, possibility.

The professor of political science from Soochow University, Su said, that currently, the system of presidency leans toward what the president says, and when the political party of the president is not the same as the majority members of the legislature, then, the president is more than likely, to select the members from her/his own party, but the supportive basis of the cabinet won’t be the majority of the legislature, thus, the cabinet is made into an oligarchy.  He worries, that the revoting systems will recur in the futures to come, with the majority of the legislature “against the anti”, with the party in power losing total self-governing means.

The political science professor, Shen pointed out, if there may be a need to set up a union of cabinet members, it would be up to the president and the leaders of the political parties to, decide, like in the Chen presidency from before, the head of executive, Tang wasn’t from the DDP-approved, but the KMT refused to vouch for Tang, although there were the party members who aren’t of the DDP entering into the government, they’re, basically, from the same ideology systems.

Shen mentioned that there was the mentions of changes in reforms in the legislature, that the former presidents, Ma and Tsai in their terms, their party won the majority of legislative seats; and now, the party in power, distrusted the parties whose candidates didn’t win the presidency, they are, diverse in their beliefs, and in the applicational means of the law, it may create more conflicts, and, deadlocks.

despite how the DDP won the presidency, the DDP didn’t win the majority of seats in the legislature, which will make it difficult for them to have enough forces to pass the laws they want to pass, because chances are, the DDP will get outvoted! Illustration from online

The legislator, Hsu from the K.M.T. stated, that the DDP and KMT are oppositions, and it would be next to impossible, for the two parties to agree on anything, to combine their members into the president’s cabinet members.  The legislature won’t vote the head of executive out of office, because there’s, little effect to it.  The most powerful of person isn’t the head of state, if the president Lai is impeached, and it would be okay for the head of legislature to get voted on again, but, the president stays in office, what would be the, point?

And so, this is the troubles, that’s even more difficult, when the party controlling the legislature isn’t in line with the president elect, and you CAN see, how this will be, hard, for the president to pass any acts that he saw fit, right?  But in this DICTATORSHIP we are living in of the DDP rule, this may be, the best form of government we can have, of countering the DICTATORSHIP of the DDP, of trying to stop the corrupt political party from, taking control over our lives, passing all those, bills that aren’t actually, beneficial to we the people.

The KMT Questioned Ke’s Ingenuity of the Merging of the KMT & the TPP

What MORE, do you want?  I mean, Hou already compromised, settled for, the running mate, and now, Ke became, indecisive…and, if Ke can’t bring himself to work with Hou on the elections, then, he will be, the one to BLAME, for the DDP, taking control over us all, again!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Talks of Forced “Merger”, of “Emotional Blackmail”, and of the “Fruit of a Poisonous Tree”

The mergers of the KMT and the TPP is now, in the negotiation phase, leaving the room for cooperation.  But, as the supporters saw that Hou had compromised again, and again, he’d gotten insulted, maybe, it, angered all the, supporters of the KMT, and the chair, Chu must steady the emotions that are about to go haywire within the party, while Ke must, show more faith, to NOT break the expectations of sixty-percent of all the voters.

The negotiations had gone on for weeks, Hou had shown his final hand in, friendship, no longer insisted on being on the ticket as, president anymore, and, whether it be, “Ke as president, Hou as vice president”, or “Hou as president, Ke as vice president”, he’d accepted it, but, they both need to be on the, same ticket.  But Ke failed to catch the balls, and continued, to serve his own, and tossed out the claims of him “being forced into a merge”, “the poisonous combo”, and told, that he’d been, emotionally blackmailed by the day, mocked how the KMT had proposed the preliminary votes first, with fifty-fifty supporters, that a whole bottle of arsenic will kill you, but, so would, half a bottle, this angered, a lot of the supporters of the KMT.

from before, Ke, shaking hand with the chairman of the KMT, Chu…photo from online

The key to political cooperation is on ingenuity, with the ingenuity in place, then, the trust can be, established, then the, compromises of give and, take.  The candidate of both parties may not know, that Hou’s hand in friendship had long been, extended toward Ke, and mentioned to Ke in person too, to the point of the TPP’s rumors of finding the former mayor of Kaohsiung, Han as his vice president, and now, the KMT would wonder, if Ke’s intentions were to divide the votes of the KMT, to attempt to borderline Hou, that he’d shown, NO faith in working together.

The KMT still hadn’t given up on the possibility of working together with the TPP to this very day, but, to the end of working to compromise, it’d ended with Ke’s, turning around, and leave, but, Ke may not be like the writer, Hsu, because, if the K.M.T. and T.P.P. don’t come together, then, it would, break the sixty-percent of voters’ hopes of, taking DDP out of, the office, and if Ke didn’t show more faith, then, he and his party will end up, with the blames of the people’s, opinions.

And so, either that, Ke, was getting, too greedy in this, or, that he wanted to become, the president too much, and Hou already let him have the spot, and yet, he’d become, too stuck in his own head, and if no consensus is reached soon, then, the DDP will win, yet another, four years, and this country will totally get, FUCKED up, for another, four more, years, and, what can we the people do?  Nothing, because, it’s not like we can, MAKE Ke accept Hou’s hand in, friendship…

Stepping OVER Their Own Bottom Lines, Then, They Will Finally, Reach One Another to Shake Hands

On the KMT and Taiwan People’s Party, coming together, for that SOLITARY G-O-A-L, of DESHELVING the DDP, and this, is the only way that this country will be, SAVED!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The campaign headquarters of Hou and Ke finally came together on Saturday, to discuss how they are going to, work, together, with Ke and his supporters, with the unwillingness written, all over their, faces; Hou who was signaling friendship, his hardship is only about to start, as he needed to, try and persuade the KMT and Taiwan People’s Party to work together hand-in-hand.

this is only, on the, “surfaces”; all for, S-H-O-W! photo from online

Ke knew, that he had zero chances of winning the presidency, being the weakest of all three candidates, even IF he’d won the presidential elections for his political party.  And so, in the ten days of negotiating the terms, he is, elevating his worthiness in the means of the KMT and Taiwan People’s Party’s coming together as one, to gain as much as he possibly, can, if the KMT couldn’t give it to him, then, he could, become independent on the ticket for his own, party, and, there’s a projected rise in numbers of the legislators from Taiwan People’s Party gaining more seats, this is also why, he was, calling out such a high value too.

Hou has a different goal than Ke however.  Hou represented the hundred-year-old KMT, his goal was to win the presidency, to finish the “trade-off” of the parties in power; to Hou, if the KMT doesn’t work together with Taiwan People’s Party, then, he couldn’t have a winning chance against the presidential candidate for the DDP, Lai, so, he’d had to, shown that hand in friendship first, to show that he was willing, and able, to talk, to get Ke quickly on the discussion tables of the KMT and Taiwan People’s Party coming together as one.

Ke tossed out his bottom line of hosting the three rounds of debates, then the polls, the loser will back out, he’d been insistent on this; Hou stressed that there can’t be a predisposed condition, for the negotiations to continue, and the polls, were only one of, many means to see who would be more popular as president, that he had his own, bottom lines too.  They both had their individual, considerations, before even sitting down to communicate.

the polls of those thirty-five and under! From online, and, with the Taiwan People’s Party joining forces with the KMT, then, there might be, that SLIGHT chance that the DDP won’t win next year, but, they’re not on the same page, so…from online

And, could the Taiwan People’s Party eventually merge with the KMT?  Are the candidates going to work together?  The key lies in how if they’re able to, keep up with their own bottom lines individually, and if the barriers of their, differences can be, broken, could they come up with a compromise that both side would be, satisfied with?  If before the fourteenth, they still couldn’t agree, then, the chances of the two parties, coming together, to run against the DDP may be, next to, nil.

And so, despite how both parties stated that the common goal was to take DDP off the shelves, they’re now, in disagreement, and, how are they going to, possibly, win against the DDP, if they can’t reach the consensus of who will be nominated as the president, who would be the vice, besides, BOTH wanted to take charge, so, yeah, looks like the DDP will, win again, and RUIN us all, for four more years, because these two parties that aren’t in power, can’t put their EGOS aside, and really, join forces, to TAKE DDP OFF the SHELVES!

McCarthy Was Sacrificed by the Polarization in American Politics

Splitting up, everywhere in the world, and, U.S. can’t escape this, “faction”, taking over the Congress either, how the fights to gain control of the legislature, is bad, for the functioning of the entire country, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Parties are at War, the Stances Too Far Apart, the Milder Leaders Couldn’t Get the House of Representatives to Reach a Needed Consensus

Other than McCarthy stepping down as the speaker  of the house being an internal fight of the Republicans, it’s also, an indicator of the American democracy on that, downhill, slope; from the people’s taking over Capitol Hill to prevent the verification of the president elect, to the House’s starting up the impeachment of the president, to now, switching out the Speaker of the House, it all points to how the Republicans and Democrats are at war with one another, and now, the House had, halted its work, this affected the budgets that goes into aiding Ukraine, and the American president, Biden is hurried to, settle down the allies, and establishing the faith.

On the January sixth, 2021 takeover of Capitol Hill, to this very day, the American public are still split one of two ways, just like part of the Republican supporters still believed that Trump had won the elections, this is no longer a matter of winning or losing of the individual candidates now, it’s the American’s level of trust in the voting systems, and of the American, politics.

The challenges that McCarthy faces is even more complex than the people’s opinions, his weakness of leadership started from the fifteenth round of votes for the Speaker, the Republicans only had a slight advantage of majority of the House, and, facing the debatable bills and the sensitive subjects, they’d had to, get the extremes of their own party, and members of the Democrats to work together to get the votes passed.

From McCarthy’s handling of Tsai’s passing through the U.S., we can see that he’s mildly tempered, that he’d not started dancing with the Republican’s defying China movement and embellish on how the U.S. was allowing the president of Taiwan to pass through, to get a reaction out of China.

as the two major parties duke it out, what’s split is the Congress, and that does NOBODY any good! Political cartoon from online

But, his mild manners, did NOT get the consensus of the major issues in the House for him.  On the major issues of budget, the Republicans were upset over how McCarthy worked with the Democrats, the Democrats criticized that he wasn’t able to lead the Republicans away from the extremist beliefs of Trump’s “to make America great again!”

The moment that Biden won the 2020 elections, he’d sworn to take American politics away from the extremists, that he will be a president for the people.  Tom Daschle, the leader of the majority stated of the problems of extremism of the U.S. in an interview, before Biden took office, that the middle grounds had disappeared on the debatable issues, which caused the two parties reaching a consensus to become, next to impossible.

The two parties are both calculating, that more chaotic the opposing party is, the bigger the chances that they will win.  The Democrats are sitting and watching this current fight, the Federal government shutting down, and aid to Ukraine under fire, still right at hand, and, soon enough, they won’t be able to laugh about them either

On the theory of Huntington, a political scientist’s view, there are the advancing, and the receding of the waves of democracy, which always revolved around the duel of populists and authoritarianism.  Huntington made his observations based off of the new age democracies, and now, the U.S., which had been a democracy since 1776, will be, facing this, challenge too.

And so, this showed, how as the parties fight, and within the parties, there are the factions, the different sects, the countries are, ruined, because there are, too many, differences of opinions, with no consensus, of what the ultimate goal should be: to help the people live better in the country, the parties are fighting each other, to gain control of the legislature, and, this is one major problem of the dyadic party systems, and there’s no mediators in this, because each side thinks that it’s the best way, and neither is, willing to cave, for the better of the whole.
