While Disrupt’s sessions and speakers lead the discussion on how to build sustainable startups in the AI era, Side Events keep it going before, during, and after the event. Think of them as bonus forums for connection — panels, workshops, and socials designed to spark collaboration, highlight fresh voices, and bring the community closer together.
Whether you’re a founder, builder, investor, or tech enthusiast, these gatherings give you more chances to engage, exchange ideas, and discover what’s next. You can click here to apply to host your own event, but keep in mind the deadline is swiftly approaching on September 4.

Hosting a Side Event is a great way to connect your community with the thousands of Disrupt attendees, potential investors, partners, and the general public, depending on your preference. Events are required to be open to the public as well as attendees.
Own your slice of Disrupt week
These events don’t have to be limited to post-Disrupt happy hours. Our program allows for you to host an event between October 10 and October 16, giving you plenty of windows to bring people together throughout the Bay Area. Just keep in mind that events from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT from October 13-15 won’t be considered, as that’s prime Disrupt time!
