AN AWAITING WORLD

Almost all the pictures we take of nature are relatively tame. I see wilder animals but I never seem to have a camera in hand at the time. I wish I had some great photos of bears or moose or even of our local coyotes (they sit and howl in our driveway), foxes and bobcats. … Continue reading AN AWAITING WORLD

NOT QUITE FULL FOLIAGE (BUT ON ITS WAY)

Weekend FOTD – October 5 & 6, 2024 – Fall is getting close If we went north or west, it's full blazing color. They are showing pictures on TV and it looks spectacular. I'm waiting for it to catch up with us here in the Blackstone Valley. Usually, just about when I'm convinced autumn isn't … Continue reading NOT QUITE FULL FOLIAGE (BUT ON ITS WAY)

Almost all the pictures I take are of nature -- or of Garry or me in a natural setting. I wish I had more "wild" animals -- like bear or moose of something like that. Sadly, I don't. I have seen them, but I never managed to get a picture.

EARTH DAY AND SHARING

SHARE YOUR WORLD & BE KIND TO EARTH! 4-26-2022 With all of the mess going on across the world, I still think trying to get our planet healthy -- for us -- should be our number one priority. It isn't number one. I don't even think it is really on the list. It's theoretically on … Continue reading EARTH DAY AND SHARING

SNOW – NATURALLY BLACK & WHITE

CBWC: Cold, Chilly, or Chili We had our last really big snow in 2018 when we -- here in Worcester County -- got just over three feet (a meter) of snow. Tonight we start another big snow event. Depending on a lot of things such as a shift in the wind or a drifting cloud, … Continue reading SNOW – NATURALLY BLACK & WHITE
