A 2 Z – 2026 – Bunch of B

I made this on my Kindle drawing app. Letter B in purple, orange background, and butterfly stamps all over

Last night I dreamed of bats circling around up in the sky. I don’t know why, but it might have been for a little conversation I had with a friend blogger about seeing buzzards at her place (thanks Vero!). Anyway, I did see buzzards one time here, lazily making circles in the sky. There must have been 20 or 30 of them. I tried taking a photo (see below) but they were far away and kind of blurry. So … Blurry Buzzards

Then still thinking of Bats, I don’t usually see them, but a couple of times I have. We lived in a place where every evening about sunset, I’d be looking out the back door to the place across the way, and out of their roof vents (?) would come a bunch of bats flying out.

Another time at another place we had a shared laundry room in a separate area. One neighbor came to alert all the residents that there was something making a racket in one of the washing machines. So we all went over to see. One lady was brave enough to put on gloves and look inside. There was a bat in there and couldn’t get out. (the washer was empty and not running). So she reached in and got him and let him fly free.

The Mini-ginny

The Mini-ginny

A black & white Guinea Pig pet my daughter had years ago, sitting on a pink blanket

***

April 1st

I call this one mini ginny. It’s about a mini guinea pig critter. I mean really mini. Teeny tiny maybe only half my thumb big. and really cute brown & white. Well a neighbor raised them and brought one over to show me. it was in her hand, and so then I got to hold it. While holding it, it laid an egg. but it was huge – almost as big as a chicken egg, way bigger than the little mini ginny. How was this possible? But the egg wasn’t really an egg, it was an alive baby ginny, but so much bigger, like a real size ginny. … then for some reason me and some others, like my aunt, and maybe my daughters? were in a car. It was a teeny weenie one and how did we all fit in there? So my aunt got out to go into a store, and she came back out to find her car, but I asked how can she find the car since it is so tiny, all the regular cars around it hides it so it’s hard to find her mini car. I think we watched her search the parking lot for awhile. I think she was holding the mini-ginny now.

***Yep, that’s the dream I had sometime during the night. April fools? Who knows why we dream the things we do, but it’s always fun to be entertained in the night with our mind movies. 🙂

Dreamscape Stories # 5 – Movie

It’s been awhile, about 2 years since I posted about a dream. But I had a really funny one this morning just before waking up. It was funny to me, I was laughing so much!

***

We, as a family, went out to a movie theater. We hadn’t been to one in years. I didn’t really want to go, because I can’t eat popcorn, and what’s the point of going to a movie and not getting popcorn. It would be torture to sit there smelling that buttery snack, and watching everyone around you eating it, and I’m not allowed. So, I never want to go to a movie again in my life. Ever!

But, we went, me included. We’re at the snack counter, and for some reason everyone was just getting hamburgers. This theater did serve hamburgers of all kinds.

The lady behind the counter was very slow making them, though. She’d only make one full burger with everything, before starting on the next one. We were getting impatient. Finally it was my turn to say what I wanted on my burger, so I told her, and to make sure it was cooked very well done.

That was all, and I woke up. So far not funny is it.

What was so funny to me was this … we were all ourselves, but we were a squirrel family. We acted and thought as humans, but we all looked like squirrels.

Oh my, just typing that is getting me laughing so tears are blurring my eyes. hahaha 🙂 And I didn’t even realize we were squirrels until right at the end, myself.

UFO

Somebody said come look outside at the sky. It was night, and the stars were out, but one wasn’t a star.

It was probably a UFO, and it was going real fast and erratic. It would zig zag fast, slow, and all different ways around the horizon. It was a little ways up, and going around in a huge circle.

I think I went to get my camera. Then I remember I was talking to an old seer or sage guy about stuff.

Dreamscape Stories # 3 – Mice

***

10/9/01

There were tons of mice in the front yard – this was over at Daddy’s house. I guess we all lived there.

Anyway, at night with the porch light on we could see the mice in the grass. The neighborhood cats would chase and catch them every night. We decided to let our cats (and dogs) out to have fun, too. We let them all out, but it was mostly Gretchen (the tortoise shell) and Paolo (the Russian Blue) who we watched.

They were really funny, and the mice were so easy to catch. For some reason Gretchen had real long fur, like a Persian – pretty. Then we were going to get them to come in, but weren’t sure how, as they were hard to catch.

But we figured we’d shake the dry cat food sack and they’d come for their crunchies. So we did, and they pretty much all came … except Gretchen, who we thought would be first in – wasn’t.

We looked and she was climbing the chain link fence to the west, trying to go over to next door. We tried to get her down, but she went farther up, and then over the fence, still clinging to the fence.

She actually looked worried, because she didn’t know how to get back over the fence and over here. So we coaxed her back over finally, and grabbed her and took her in the house.

They had lots of fun.
