Red, yellow,  hot pink, or swirly…these very large lollipops all look pretty sweet!

I took this photo from my back yard on August 24, 2016. It was right at sunrise starting photo at 7:13 a.m. As I turned toward the west, this beautiful rainbow was there. Those photos were taken at 7:18 a.m. All were taken with my phone camera, and the full arc rainbow was taken with the panoramic setting, as it was huge, and wouldn’t all fit in one photo! Also, in the photo (with arc) the little black dot you see is a bird flying by. If you can, click the photo to enlarge, to see it! 🙂

One Word Sunday – Pointed

One Word Sunday – Pointed

Today’s photo is of spiky  and pointy ice formations.

I used to make tea for drinking iced tea later in the day, and put it in an old Mr. Coffee glass pot. I put it in the refrigerator. Then, I notice sometimes that ice has formed on the top of the liquid. It looked pretty interesting, so I took some photos, then zoomed it in closer.

I think the ice makes some really pretty designs, which looks pointy and spiky. 🙂

Then, I have this photo of some icicles hanging off the roof. This is an old photo from the house I used to live in when I was a kid. Icicles are pretty pointy, too!

The topic today is the color Green! Here are some photos I have found with green in them.

Finally our fruitless Mulberry tree has begun to have nice green buds appearing. Yay for Spring! 🙂

This place is close by our house. It is Mexican food, but we only went once. It was okay, but very bland and kind of tasteless in our opinion.

The surprise was this turtle decoration.

This was a large ceramic turtle with a smaller turtle riding on it’s back. I have no idea why it was in this Mexican food restaurant. I know turtle wasn’t on the menu! It’s a cute decoration, though.

This wasp has been hanging around our garage for the past few days.  (2020) Here it is on the window. We open the door and he flies out.
