• Compared to a cloud, how would you describe yourself:
  a) whispy in an almost clear sky
  b) white and fluffy
  c) dark and threatening
  d) thunderous and angry

If I was a cloud I’d be the white and fluffy one – I’m large, white, and pretty much happy in a blue sky, and can take on any kind of shapes you might see.

• If you were a young animal, what best describes your personality:
  a) an inquisitive puppy
  b) a playful kitten
  c) a skittish rabbit
  d) an excitable pony

If I was a young animal I’d be the inquisitive puppy – I like to look things up, research topics, find out answers to things.

•  If you were a flower, would you be
  a) something bright and showy
  b) something fragrant
  c) something small and discreet
  d) a weed

If I was a flower I’d probably be a weedy one – a pretty flower, but not contained in a strict flower bed, kind of messy, just wandering around wild doing my own thing wherever I am, in my own world or imagination.

• If you believe in reincarnation, would you like to come back as
  a) a wild animal
  b) a bird
  c) an insect
  d) a sea creature.

On this one I don’t know, I want to say a tiger, since a tiger is my spirit animal. But also a bird would be nice, too. I like flying in an airplane, so actually flying would be fun.

1. I’ve been receiving notifications of Achievements and recently Classic Material which I neither want or signed up for.
Do you think such notifications are necessary or have you switched them off?

I did notice the awards and the old post deals, but just looked once at them. Not necessary at all, but fun if you want to do anything with them. I doubt I will though.

2. With the recent hot weather, it seems to bring out the worst in us drivers. Have you been a victim of road rage?

No, since I don’t drive any more, or go anywhere either, I haven’t noticed any road rage.

3. In hot weather, what would you prefer:
a paddle in the sea, dangling your feet in a pool, or staying as much as possible ion the shade?

It’s always hot here in the summer. We stay inside under the air conditioner, and if in a car an A/C is mandatory. We don’t have a sea, and we don’t go swimming, and we don’t sit out in the hot sun. We do have one big tree, but it’s still too hot out there.

4. On a hot day, what do you find most refreshing:
a hot drink (tea or coffee), an ice cold glass of lemonade, a cold beer, or ice cream.

I drink hot coffee no matter the weather. Then I drink iced tea all day. I don’t drink beer or eat ice cream, or cold coffee. Haven’t had lemonade in many years but I liked it when I did.

1. It’s a Bank Holiday here in the UK, so a lot of us don’t have to go to work. Are you working today? … No, I haven’t worked in an outside job in many years.

2. What do you like to do on your days off (not holiday/vacation)   … Every day here is my day off, so I do what I want to do, like blog, read, puzzles, & coloring.

3. Have you booked a holiday/vacation this year? … No, we don’t go anywhere.

4. Have you ever had a Staycation (a holiday in your own country) … We stay at home all the time, so that is I suppose a stay cation? When I was a kid we only ever had an occasional vacation as my dad couldn’t take off work. I only remember 3 (Carlsbad Caverns  in New Mexico, Red River in New Mexico, and the Hemisfair in San Antonio)

1. How would you describe your sense of humour? … Very good, as I get tickled at most anything and any time. Half the time it’s laughing at myself for doing silly mistakes.

2. What was the most recent thing that made you laugh out loud? … So  many times a day I laugh out loud, at something I see on things I read on the computer, or something my daughter’s have said, they are always telling funny stories that have happened, or something I’ve done will make me laugh out loud. .. Ok two examples yesterday and the day before …

• Daughter related  story of them in the park walking, and my grand daughter was by the swings. A boy came up carrying a teddy bear and started talking to her. He said he was 9 years old, and asked her if she had to eat tomato salad in order to grow tall…we were cracking up at that story. So strange and funny.
• Other Daughter yesterday on facetime phone showing us her chickens she is raising, and my SIL and grandson are building a huge ‘chicken city’ coop in the back yard. He’d made a sign for it, which partly said … ‘itty bitty shitty chickie city’ ! haha  🙂

3. Have you ever laughed until you cried? … Yes, pretty much any time I get laughing there will be tears.

4. Have you ever laughed at an inopportune moment? … I’m sure I have. Can’t recall any right now.

1. Have you ever bought something on a whim? … Sure have, more times than not.

2. Have you ever bought a joke gift for someone? … Yes, can’t remember now what it was. We used to have white elephant games sometimes for family get together times, so it was always something silly.

3. Can you remember the silliest gift you ever received (any age)? … Probably something from the white elephant games.

4. Did you have birthday parties when you were a child? … Yes, every year. One really memorable one was my 9th, a surprise party which was really a surprise, and it was all recorded on home movie film.

1. Can you remember your first date? … No

2. Did you belong to a youth club or similar in your teens? … No

3. Can you roller skate? … I used to go skating every Fri. night with my friends, so yes I used to be able to skate. I would not want to try it now as I’d probably fall down.

4. What did you have for breakfast this morning? … So far I haven’t had breakfast. I have had graham crackers and peanut butter with my coffee. We get up so early it is several hours until we have breakfast each morning at 7 a. m. so I have to have a snack before. That said, I’m so tired of the same old breakfast items, I dread it every morning.  … Okay so now I’ve had breakfast and we had a fried egg, toast and little sausages. I managed to get through it.

1. Do you play a musical instrument? … I can play the violin. I played in school from 6th grade to 10th grade or so, and even had private lessons getting ready for competitions. I don’t have my violin anymore though. I gave it to my grand-daughter.

2. Is there an instrument you wish you could play? … I wish I could play the guitar. I’ve tried several times, and just can’t get the hang of it.

3. Can you read music? … I could read music for the violin just fine.

4. Do you have a favourite memory that involves music? … A favorite? I enjoyed  playing concerts while in school. I enjoyed going to rock and country concerts sometimes. I still enjoy listening to music every day, and watching music videos.
