It is with great pleasure that we announce that just hours ago in Japan on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 10:00 AM, Transformers Super Link TV Special titled, "Special - "Must See/Watch! The Strongest Dream Match" aired. Why is this so important? Because the 500th Animated "TV" Episode of the Transformers cartoon to be produced & aired on Television which includes episodes the United States & Japan!
I feel that it is quite fitting that in its 20th year, Transformers reaches such a momentous milestone. Not many television series in North America, or Japan; live action or animated can say they have reached 500 TV episodes, even though many separate sets of animators & writers from 3 different countries have contributed over the years.
They have made us laugh, made us cry. Given rise to some awesome ideas, Provided great battles, and some not so great ideas we probably wish never existed. But There's no doubt in anyone's mind that over the past 20 years, the various TF animated series have provided us all with some Great Entertainment. Here is a breakdown of the TV episodes so you can do the math for yourself:
