a visit from Piper
My good friend Piper came to visit NYC in April and we were able to hang out a few of the days she was here. The first day we went bike riding in Central Park and another day we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and then to the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory under the Brooklyn Bridge. It was such an enjoyable visit. We had not seen each other for more than 8 years. I hope that we are able to continue to keep in touch and remain friends for as long as we have.

Coney Island after dark...not the most brilliant idea
My good friend Loni came to visit last October.
We had a great time shopping, eating, drinking lots
of Bubble Tea and just hanging out!
Little did she know that her boyfriend at the time
called me and arranged to propose to her at The Empire State Building.
... so on her first day here we took a
trip to The Empire State Building and while we were at the
top looking at the view Tony came up and surprised her and
got down on his knee and asked her to marry him
Of course she said YES... although I think she
was in a state of shock because it was so unexpected
for him to be in NYC at the top of The Empire State Building.

On our way to take Tony to the airport
we went out for sushi. This is one of our
favorite places to go for sushi. Everything
is so fresh and they make the most creative
presentations with the food.
halloween 2009
The girls were gypsies for Halloween last year.
We enjoyed trick-or-treating with some of Bailey's
classmates. My Mom made their costumes, which
turned out absolutely adorable. Thanks Mom!
