33 weeks

I had a check up earlier in the week and everything is still going really smooth, except for one little thing, he's breech. The doctor says I really have nothing to worry about because he should turn on his own before it gets too late. However, she did say that if he stays breech up to my 36 week mark then they will have to physically try and flip him. The bad part about that is, if there is too much stress on him and his heart rate drops or if the umbilical cord gets wrapped around his neck then they will have to do an emergency C-Section right then. I'm not extremely nervous about that but I do hope he flips because I do not want to have a C-Section.

Our dad's came to visit us this weekend. We had so much fun with them. They are wonderful men and we are so happy that Porter will have two outstanding Grandpa's.

32 weeks

This week has been a very active and uncomfortable week. With school starting I am getting back into the routine of waking up at 5:00am and going to bed around 9:30pm. Seth hates the fact that I'm going to bed earlier now. Porter is growing that is for sure. My belly is starting to feel like there is no more room to stretch, but I still have 8 weeks to go so I'm sure there is still plenty of room to stretch and grow. Seth and I finished our childbirth class yesterday. It was a great class and we learned a lot. We have more of a plan now on what we hope to do when I go into labor.
Those of you who know me know that I can sometimes have expensive taste, especially when it comes to this little boy I'm having. When I started registering for things, I found this adorable travel system, playard and swing made out of the same fabric, but it was pretty expensive. I still registered for it because I was going to find some way to get at least one piece for Porter. Well things have worked out wonderfully and with the help of some generous people, especially my mother-in-law Jill, Seth and I were able to get all three pieces this week. Thank you Jill for helping us get these wonderful things.

31 weeks

This week I started back to school with meetings and next Tuesday students come back. At the end of the last school year I wasn't really showing and I didn't tell many people, so it made for a pretty interesting and funny first reaction with many of my co-workers. Today Seth and I had our first labor and delivery class. To say the least Seth was not excited for today, he was a great sport though and he got through the class, even the birth film we watched. Here's the latest picture. The things I have been feeling a lot lately are lots of indigestion, leg cramps, frequent urination and of course just being very emotional. I have at least one day a week that I just start crying and I can't stop. Seth has been a great support, he is such a sweetheart.

30 weeks

Here's the latest pix of the belly. It's getting so big, but I love it so much. I missed putting up a pix last week because I was home in CO for another shower. The shower was thrown by Seth's mom and my mom, it was so nice, I got some really nice things for Porter. Thank you mom and Jill for the wonderful shower you threw. My mom drove home with Seth and I to help get the babies room done. Her gift to us was the crib and all the wall and window stuff for the room. We spent all of Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday painting, molding, putting a wall border up and getting furniture all together. Porter's room looks so cute. I still have a couple more pieces of furniture coming so as soon as I get it all up I will post pictures. Thanks mom for all you did for the room. I love you so much, you're the BEST!!!
