Bruin came down with Bronchiolitis on Monday and LUCKILY we already had an appointment with his pediatrician for his immunizations the next day. Needless to say he didn't end up getting any immunizations and our pediatrician kept saying, "He just looks so awful, poor guy." He had a raging fever, watery blood shot eyes, a runny nose and was wheezing as he sat there being examined. RSV has been going around in our ward so I knew he had something bad. We were sent home with prescriptions for 3 different drugs of antiobiotics, a steriod inhaler, and some other cough one. I hate having to put the mask on Bruin with the steriod inhaler. I've learned the art of bribery though, which has worked pretty well. Here is a video Phil took of the end of one inhaler treatment (I had to give him 3 a day). I had bribed him with Swedish fish, thus the fish lips he keeps making.
And of course, Phil and I both got sick too following Bruin so we've been a sad little bunch this weekend. Dang flu season
Oh and here's a V-Day pic of my growing belly
