UTLOT Executive Directors

Executive Directors of Unto The Least Of These Ministries are a special breed of ministers of the Gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:3-8) in that they perform their ministry functions in various cities and states, must rely on their own God-given skills, and must “think on their feet.”

As is stated in the ministry profile of UTLOT, the main focus of ministry members is that of soul winning and benevolence. Therefore, each UTLOT member must have a good working knowledge of Scripture and must also be able to convey such knowledge to their contacts in a way that shows the love of Christ and compassion of the UTLOT member.

Executive Directors of Unto The Least Of These Ministries (UTLOT) are appointed by the President of Unto The Least Of These Ministries.

Executive Directors of Unto The Least Of These Ministries may appoint ministry members to UTLOT.

UTLOT Study Memo

UTLOT Study Memo

As I have stated in prior comments on the unique roles that UTLOT members play, and of the  austere situations in which UTLOT members may find themselves, I have tried to consider some of the key subjects in which they may need greater support from me.

My understanding of Israel and the end times began in 1976. Since that time I have studied the works of credible theological scholars of whom have demonstrated a great understanding of the special place that Israel has in God’s plan for the ages, as well as of the Jewish prophets who told of God’s instructions to Israel. Such prophecies relate to Israel, the coming Messiah, the Tribulation and the literal and earthly Davidic KIngdom, which is also known as the Messianic Kingdom, the Millennium, and the Kingdom of God.

If you will search my Eternity Page, “About My References,” you will notice that many of my preferred scholars have a history of being graduates or professors of Dallas Theological Seminary, which was founded by Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer (1871-1952) in 1924, which was established on a foundation of “Israel And The End Times,” a theology of which I also subscribe. Many professors at DTS have worked there for more than forty years. DTS Doctors John Walvoord, J. Dwight Pentecost, Charles Ryrie, Thomas Constable and others, have gained the respect of their peers in other Seminaries of the same theological mindset.

My writing direction is following the course of “Israel And The End Times.” I am finishing the Prophecy of Isaiah, who was the most detailed writer of Messianic prophecy. My next subject will be the Gospel of Matthew, which was written to Jewish believers in Christ, to affirm to them of the validity of Christ being the chosen king of the kingdom to come. Also in Matthew, we find the facts of the coming kingdom, and a nutshell of the Tribulation which will precede the Davidic Kingdom. We will then move onto the  Book of Revelation which will show details off the Godly tribulation judgments (seals, trumpets, bowls), with the return of Christ to earth to defeat Satan and his supporters, and to establish the Kingdom on earth that was promised to Israel in 2 Samuel 7:8-16, and was discussed with the Disciples of Christ in Acts 1:6, “Lord, ” is it at this time that you are restoring the kingdom to Israel?’ (Notice that the Kingdom will be of the Abrahamic covenantal promise, that will exist between God and Israel, which will also be a blessing to Gentiles.)

About Unto The Least Of These Ministries (UTLOT).

UTLOT – Mission Statement.

A. Unto The Least Of These Ministries.

B. The mission objectives are clear. Our LORD has given us specific marching orders.

C. Statements Of Ministry. 1. Vision. 2. Overview. 3. Future. 4. Mission Objectives.

1. Vision. Ephesians 3:20 shares a view of ministry that should be important to all believers of Christ. That scripture tells us, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us …” The vision that had previously been in my mind did not include such things as:

2. Overview. Matthew 25:40 has challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone, and to respond to the needs of people who seem to have been overlooked by much of the church of Christ. In that scripture, our Lord says to us, “…inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

    a. Equipping the Saints: Preaching the message of “Christ and Him Crucified;” making known the needs of the less fortunate.

    b. Becoming an advocate for anyone who may need such support, including those who are not homeless, but may be classified as the working-poor.

    c. Assisting in the staffing of national and international ministries.

    d. Using the forces of personal evangelism and Internet media to make thousands of believers around the world aware of the burdens that God has placed on my heart.

    e. Supporting U.S. military forces around the world, based on the type of request.

    3. Future.

    a. When I stepped outside of the area of comfort, that had previously shielded me from a very dark side of life, I began to share the love of Jesus in a way that had never entered my mind. To take the hand of a prostitute and pray with her – to see her closing her eyes and joining me in praying to our Lord and Savior, Jesus of Nazareth – to see tears flowing from her eyes … these are all special moments of my life, and will never leave my mind. To walk under a bridge and view a homeless city; to see homeless people devising ways to protect their personal belongings, such as putting all that they own in a grocery store shopping cart; to see a makeshift bed, that extended from one steel girder to another, so that a man and his wife would be able to sleep five feet above the dirt that was beneath them; to see women selling their bodies so that they could sleep in a real bed, and have food to eat; to see homeless people walking the streets all day long, with no place to go; to see the vacant houses where those without homes would make their homes, for a night, for a week, or until a police officer would tell them that they would have to “find some other place to sleep” – which might be a park bench, a bridge, or another abandoned house; to know that many homeless people die each winter’s night, because they don’t have clothing that is warm enough to protect them from subfreezing temperatures – to know that the heat of summer takes the lives of those who can not escape the deadly temperatures of June, July, and August.

    b. When I have become an advocate for one of “the least of these;” when I have tried to “do what Jesus would do;” when I have tried to “be Jesus to the less-fortunate;” it has been very challenging and fatiguing, yet very rewarding.

    c. As a ministry seeks to recruit volunteer ministers, it is very rewarding to be asked to assist in the recruiting and logistics effort of the growth of that ministry.

    d. As I have been invited to explain the ministry of “Unto The Least Of These,” to churches and church groups, it has been more of a blessing than I could ever have imagined.

    e. The challenges of the United States armed forces are numerous. Many troops have no relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Military chaplains need the assistance of churches, individuals, and civic groups, in providing bibles and personal items to the troops. It is a blessing to be a part of that supply process.

    4. Mission Objectives.

    a. Glorify God: Ephesians 3:21.

    b. Evangelism: Acts 1:8.

    c. Benevolence: Matthew 25:35-36; Galatians 2:10.
