Closer to You

I push you away and plead for you to leave me be, it is part of our daily ritual. There are times when I thrive on being alone and not bothered, left to fill my time with what I want to do in absolute silence. Other times, like today, I need to be closer to you almost sitting on you soaking up your energy. Sometimes you join me in silence and let me lean on you, other times you talk nonstop about what ever crosses your thoughts. There are times when I ask you to not speak and sometimes you listen but other times you do not. Today I just want to be closer to you, without words, just closer to you.

He Just Knows

There are times when I just want to shut the world out and never be seen again. It is during these moments that I slip inside my head and disappear from those around me. I find a place within the house that is quiet and devoid of stimulus. I push people away during these moments, begging them to just leave me alone. My husband though, refuses to listen to my pleas. He pushes his away into my recluse trying to let the light shine once more. Sometimes he just sits there and lets me lean on him. Sometimes he lets me rant on and one in my anger induced state, only saying calm down every so often. He just knows that sometimes I need quiet and someone to lean on. I don’t ask how he knows when these moments are about to happen, but there are times I am grateful that he does.

Overall Opinion:

I love this pose! For me this pose shows a gentler more compassionate side to the rigid side to the men we let into our lives. While they come off as devoid of emotion and tough, they have this side to them that can reduce them mush in a given moment. A side they do not wish to disclose often. This pose shows a side where our men allow us to be emotional and lean on them for support.

While out wandering with Cady and my husband we came upon this lovely little location near the lake. We took in the remoteness, the lush greenery, and the sounds of nature. My husband noticed it was for sale, pointing it out to Cady and I. I could see the hamster on his wheel as my husband gushed about the location and the possibilities. Before I knew it I had agreed it would be the perfect location for a small cottage and my husband was calling the realtor to buy the plot of land.

Overall Opinion:

This outfit is cute and supports a worthy cause. Autism Awareness is something very dear to my heart since I work with students who have this disorder every day and I have a family member who has Autism. The outfit is cute and fun and just shows your support in promoting Awareness. It is perfect for those days when you feel like being goofy with those you love. The pose was a bonus that Cady needed to blog, you can find it at Seraphim SL The Play Room.

The Curious Minds of Men

I find myself having one of those huh moments that I often get when my husband is around and telling about his new ideas. I often wonder if he even hears himself talking or am I the only one that hears it. His ideas are pretty far out there and often make no sense. He leaves me questioning so many things and wondering where in the world he came up with this stuff. I do not question what goes on in his head any more, I made that mistake once. I will admit I let him ramble on and on until he jumps to a new topic and I find my point to escape. They do have curious minds though…

Overall Opinion:

Clearly I am in love with this new outfit set from BlackRose and the number of options it comes in (there are 10 options for you to choose from – 5 in store and another 5 at SWANK). The outfit though was not my inspiration for this post, rather the poses gave me the story once my husband sat down upon that stool. Whenever I can draw him into helping me with a post, it is sure to come with some ramblings. Both stools are perfect for any couple to use around the home (including in the garage).
