In the garden near my home, grew the single white tree. It is not like the other trees that I see, mostly greens and bright oranges surrounding the small sandy area. The single white tree stands tall and proud, not covered in snow but wearing a permanent coat of white. Use to only seeing trees so white after a long winters storm, the single white tree became the pride and joy of the people in the area. A small pavilion was constructed where many came to sit and watch the single white tree and the small birds dance in the fountain.
