Cloud Watching

Every now and then I take some time to relax and enjoy the day. I do this to refuel my mind and body. I love my job but it is high energy and stressful at times. Today I spent time outside watching the clouds pass by. I use to do this all the time as a child and regret that I do not do it more often. I watched the clouds swirl and take shape as they passed over head revealing a magnificently blue sky. I have added this to my daily relaxation routine.

Overall Opinion:

This outfit is cute and fun and made to suit any personality with the texture hud for both the top and the skirt. I opted for the blue top with the word “taken” scrawled upon the front and paired it with a black pokadot skirt. I could have chosen other colours but the words upon them were not to my personal taste. I will wear this top and skirt set again, with possibly a different variation of the skirt. It is prefect for going out or hanging around the house.

I was invited to a party at my friends house down town, we were throwing a hen party in honour of her upcoming wedding and were going to show her what she would be missing once she slapped on that ring. I opted for a new outfit that I had been looking for a reason to wear it. I got half way to the party and my poor car broke down in the middle of no where. I had to call for a cab but did not bring spare change with me. It took me forever to find one to call a tow truck; I ended up being late for the party.

Overall Opinion:

I will admit that I was not overly sure about this outfit at first, but I quickly warmed up to it. Something about snake skin creeps me out and yet I am completely fascinated by it, but not enough to wear it. Yet I am compelled to wear this outfit, like there is a force calling it to me. Once I put it on, I felt wild and ready to take on the world. I paired this with a set of pearls in white and black boots. This outfit is perfect for a night out with friends!

I often just sit outside to close my eyes and allow nature to take hold of my senses. My daily life is extremely busy with very little down time and my senses become over stimulated. I do not get a lot of outdoor time to enjoy the world around me during the winter because it cold and I am not a fan of the cold or snow. I did take some time to enjoy the some what warmer day outside and mull over some things that have been troubling me as of late. While I did not come up with a solution, I did enjoy the little amount of time I spent outdoors and the clarity I got as my heavy thoughts were somewhat lifted; even if it was just for a few moments.

Overall Opinion:

I have recently discovered a love for scarves. I use to just wear them in the winter to keep my face warm and now I find I wear them as accessories. I love everything about this outfit from BlackRose. The sweater is warm and comfortable, perfect for those days when you can go without a coat. The jeans are perfectly ripped showing that are well loved (they have also become a favourite of mine). As for the scarf it adds the perfect amount of red to any outfit. As for my boots, these are super cute and playful and will be worn lots.
