Sitting outside enjoying a nice cup of tea (pepper mint infused with green tea) and a good book, the kind that brings back memories of good friends and those that are no longer around. Paying little attention to what was happening around me, I slowly slipped into the books reality loosing all focus on my own. The events that occurred after drifting into a far off land not of my own, cannot be recounted accurately without the need of a witness to attest to my words. What I do remember is slipping into my metamorphosis of stories, something to not be taken lightly unless one is reliving a happier story. But in my case it was one made up of oddities that left me rather confused as to which parts were reality and which were from the deep pages of a book. One thing I do know is that the Cheshire cat really was not sitting in a tree pouring his own cup of tea; yet his words still ring my ear clearly “We’re all mad here, my dear.” Was he really there or was I simply seeing visions of him.
