Teach me to ask for a little help in putting on doing up my dress and putting on my necklace. He did quite the opposite and instead embraced me a gentle loving hug and whispered in my ear. What did he is whisper, oh I cannot tell you that. But eventually he did do ask I asked and allowed me to finish getting ready for our night out with friends celebrating their upcoming wedding.

Overall Opinion:

This slip dress is stunning and prefect for a cocktail party. I like how it shimmers and flows in all the right places. It clings, yet leaves much to the imagination still without giving away all your secrets. The detailing in the fabric is impressive.

Before heading off to our ballroom dance classes we took a stroll down a deserted dirt trail. We had been down this trail several times before and knew it would take us to the lake and soon to our destination. Veering to the right instead of the left, we came upon a clearing that we had never been to before. There we found the old abandoned truck covered in flowers and a bench for us to sit upon. Soon the dogs found us and my husband decided to see if the radio still worked in the old girl. Before I knew it we were dancing by the lake and completely forgot about our dance classes.

Overall Opinion:

I adore this gown and that it comes in a number of colour options. It is perfect for heading off to a night filled with ballroom dancing. I would even wear it as part of a masquerade costume; the options for this gown are endless. My husband’s cardigan also comes in a number of colours and I just love how it looks on him. Now if only we could do something about his dancing skills 🙂

Overall Opinion:

I have become drawn in by sweaters and scarves. I love this sweater from The Vintage Touch and the texture hud that allows me to personalize it my own tastes. I paired with a new favourite pair of jeans by BlackRose and a cute pair of boots, creating an outfit that I will wear more then once. I then used a pose that showed me seeking comfort from my husband while making a difficult decision.

There are times when I need my space. When I need the world to just be still and quiet and for everyone to leave me alone. Then there are the times I just want to be held and be closer with those around me. There are days when I long to be wrapped in the arms of those I love, whether they are my husband, my children, or my closest friends. While I need to be left alone at times, I also need to be closer with those I love.

Overall Opinion:

I will admit that I cannot get enough of this sweater and scarf set. I love that it has a number of colour options in various patterns, allowing for a number of options to wear this outfit to; perfect for work or play. My husband is looking dashing in his sweater from {Q-Essentials} which comes in a number of colours as well. We wore ours outside on a warm snowy day.

I decided to surprise my love with a night out just for the two of us. I wore his favourite colour for the occasion not letting one tiny surprise give away what we would be doing. I told him where to wait for me and to keep his eyes closed. I snuck up on him quietly as my gown dragged across the floor. I whispered to him to open his eyes that our night was just about to begin. We went out to diner and then danced the night away at a private club with a live band.

Overall Opinion:

There is something about a well fitting dress, especially one that is red. I believe every girl needs a long red dress hanging in their closet and Just Darling has given me that dress. This dress is sexy and tantalizing, but still leaves the viewer wanting more. It does not reveal all the secrets hidden beneath it. I paired it with a red polish and a gorgeous heal that showed a splash of white and black.

Family gatherings, friends parties, and work get togethers for the holiday season have come to an end. One year has closed and a new one begins. Some may have celebrated alone, with family, or not at all. Some may have quiet at home affairs with their closest friends and others may have gone to clubs or large halls. I adore this outfit and the number of colour options you can get it in. I decided to go out of my normal colour option and choose the pearl gown. This gown is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for any formal occasion not just a New Years party for which I wore it too.

Love is an interesting disease we become afflicted with. It comes out of no where taking all shapes and forms. It can be the individual we are meant to spend the rest of our lives with. The children we bring into the world. The children we let into our hearts who we give our unconditional love to by making them our own. Or it can be the friends we connect with and call our family. Love affects each of us differently as we venture through life. It entraps us blindly and often by surprise in the most unexpected ways.

I love this outfit; it is timeless and classic. It is perfect for those romantic walks through the snow, out with friends, or out shopping. I love the boots! I am a sucker for a good pair of boots the hug the leg just right. What I like most is I can wear this as a dress or a coat and put on a pair of pants. It is versatile and can suit any mood.

Another day comes to a close as we prepare for another Christmas party, this time out for drinks with friends before we depart for our various family events over the next two weeks. I stole a few moments to enjoy your embrace and to get lost in your eyes. It was our moment before we got lost in a sea of smiles and well wishes. Before we lost sight of each other as the men gathered before the television and the women chatted about the lack of attention from the men.

Overall Opinion:

This is the perfect cocktail dress for over the holiday season, festive green and super cute. I decided to paint my nails a dark green to match the bottom of the skirt while highlighting the lighter green in my jewelry. I topped the look of with an equally adorable pair of heels (that have become a new favourite of mine).

Today I wanted to just curl up and spend the day in pjs, much to my disappointment though it was not be; I had to work you see. Overall Opinion:

I love love love this outfit and look. I wanted something that causal, tasteful and alluring. I believe I achieved my goal when I combined this adorable leather jacket and skirt together. I do not remember when I bought these two pieces, but I liked it so much I also bought the jacket in black and the skirt in blue. The options I have with these two pieces is endless and I cannot wait to show this off.
