Just an FYI...
While I am doing some catch up I am post dating the posts to the date they occurred...so there may be a few that are farther back than you think, that you might have missed. I have to do it this way so I keep the events in order. Thanks!

Dylan Patrick

Meet
Dylan Patrick
 6lbs 14oz, 20 in.
Born at 4:05pm on the 25th of October

So happy to be in the world :)  Can you tell?

Kallie adores him and is such a great big sister!

I am not gonna lie, he is pretty much awesome! Kallie is a great helper and is very patient with him and with having to wait.  We are loving our new addition and lack of sleep ;).  I will post more details and other posts when we are a bit more settled and I can sneak away some time.

29 weeks...even though I am really 33 weeks now.

This is my baby bump at 29 weeks.  I was 33 on Monday, but it just took me a while to get the pictures loaded onto the camera.  The week this picture was taken (8.14.11), my Mom and little sister Eadie surprised me and stayed for a little over a week.  It was during a much needed time and I was so grateful!  It was so fun to have them here.  Kallie really loved it too!  We were so sad when they had to leave!
This pregnancy has been so tough!  Nothing like my first pregnancy.  I am VERY grateful that there are only 6 weeks left and that in this third trimester I am feeling a bit better. We are very excited for him to get here!  I have just learned that I need to make through one day at a time and eventually he will be here.  Even though I have been so tired and sick through most of the pregnancy, I am grateful to be pregnant and to be having this baby boy!  I do feel very blessed for that.
Kallie giving baby brother loves and hugs!  She is so sweet to him already!
With all that said...this is why I have been pretty much absent from life, the blog, crafting, girls nights etc...I can only do the essentials and sometimes that is a stretch.  I am grateful for a loving and supportive husband and a very tolerant 3 1/2 year old!  Kallie has been a real trooper through all of this.  It was only recently that I have noticed all this pregnancy business getting to her.  But she is super excited for baby brother to come.  She loves on him, talks to him and includes him in her prayers almost daily. I could not be blessed with a better family!

West Haven Days 2011

We have had a fun and eventful summer full of parades and family and fun!  This was at our local West Haven Days parade and carnival.  The parade was short and sweet (which we were grateful for because it was HOT) and then Kallie got to go play with her friends at the carnival.

Kallies first time in a bouncy house.  She was really nervous, but after a while go the hang of it...with a litte encouragement from her friends.
Kallie and Lucy goin' down the big slide together.
Then we walked around and looked at the car show and some of the vendors.  One of which was this lady who does pony parties and had her ponies there.  They were a big hit!

21 weeks...

...on friday
He is breech...but so was Kallie, hopefully he decides to turn sooner than she did. He is SUPER low and it is *soooooo very comfy for me*!!!! :) He is a mover and I DO love that! Now if I could just get some energy....we would be set.  So far this pregnancy has been WAY harder than the first one.  Just trying to stay positive and not drive my family crazy.  At my last appt. she said everything was going well and he seemed healthy.  That always makes a mom happy to hear!  Kallie is the best and prays for baby brother to develop properly.  It is very cute!   She gives him hugs and kisses already and is including him in her play plans.  It is so fun to see her excitement!  I hope she stays that excited when he is actually here.

I am having the strangest dreams.  Some fun, some weird, some down right scary and I wake up a bit mortified.  The only ones I end up remembering are the scary ones :(  But other than that, things are going really well.  I have to ration my energy usage and prioritize what I am going to use it on which is hard for me cause my house really needs cleaning...but, it will get done eventually. I would rather spend my energy playing with Kallie when I can.  I actually rode the riding cart at Wal Mart to get my grocery shopping done.  It's true.  Grocery shopping really wears me out and I needed to be able to get home and make dinner too.  I have to say, I don't regret it.  I was a little embarrassed at first...but it was so worth it!  I recommend it!

Vacay pictures to come!!!!

Bryan's 28th Birthday/Father's Day Celebration

Bryan requested an angry birds cake for his birthday, so I did my best to make him what he asked for.  I am no expert when it comes to cake decorating, not really something I have ever been super interested in, but it was fun to make and more fun to make him happy on his birthday.
Turned out pretty good I think :)
Bry asked for exercise equipment for his birthday so that is what he got.  Some bumper plates, some gymnastic rings, a stretchy band thing, and some sort of back/sit up thing.  I don't pretend to know what all these things are for...but it sure did make him happy.
And this is Kallie's favorite present of them all. She LOVES these rings and is really good at them. Bry has been doing something called CrossFit and he is building his home gym to do it at home since the program is expensive.  He is really liking it and seeing great results as well as trying to improve his over all health.  I say go for it honey!!!!
Happy birthday to you!!!!!!
*You can see a small baby bump there under my hands...

The kids all took turns as Bry gave them a ride on his new elastic band.
I gave Bry the BIGGEST piece of cake ever.  I was really surprised when he ate most of it! Talk about some regret later!

Happy brithday/Father's day Bry/Daddy!  We love you and think you are the bestest Daddy/Hubba in the world!  We are really blessed to have you in our lives!

San Diego Trip: Camping at the San Onofre Beach

We decided to camp at San Onofre the weekend of the mud run so that we would be closer to the race and they wouldn't have to drive as far, plus camping on the beach is fun.
Peter and Kallie were both very worn out after a long week of fun. This was our last stop on our trip, camping.  It took a little coaxing to get them asleep, but they were both so tired and needed it!
I went in to check on them and they were sleeping in the exact same position.
Cute Carter being patient while his mama ran in the mud run.
This was our awesome set up.  My parents have a trailer and I was very grateful to be able to sleep in the bed and not on a cot or the floor.  Made it a little more enjoyable for this pregnant body of mine.
Our view from the fence.  We didn't camp directly on the beach, which was nice cause we were closer to the bathrooms :), for those middle of the night bathroom runs I had to make,  and we didn't have to worry about kids running into the ocean.  We were a little short handed with everyone gone running in the mud run.
The water was way to cold to go swimming but we had fun jumping over the shallow waves and playing in the sand.

 Kallie and Bry
My cute little fam.
 Jumping over the waves.
My handsome hubba!
The view was gorgeous as the sun was starting to go down.  It was nice and relaxing.

Kallie found a dead crab and decided it would be fun to play with.
My sister and her little family. This is after the Mud Run, you can tell because they are supe sun burnt :(
Camping wouldn't be complete with out s'mores over the camp fire.
I am thinking Peter is liking this idea.
We had a gorgeous sunset to enjoy that night.

Bry was the master marshmallow roaster.

We had such a great time.  I always love going home and visiting my family.  We always have fun and it is nice to just go "home".

Until next year :)
