The other day Y was walking around my mom's house holding his hands up to his eyes like binoculars. When my mom asked him what he was doing he proceeded to say, "I am sightseeing."
Where on earth does a three almost four year old know what sightseeing is and where did he learn that word.
Needless to say it was hilarious. We were rolling with tears in our eyes. What a goof.

Here is an update for all those that read. It's probably not many if any at all but here it is if you are wondering. Well I am not making excuses for not blogging. Sorry haven't been in the state of mind and there are times I don't care too much.
It's fall time, which I love. If there were a place on earth that had fall time weather all year round, not on the coast to avoid the extreme rain, has the beautiful mountains that we have here, snow capped and all, I would move there. However there isn't, so I will suffer through the winter, spring and the heat of the summer(which isn't too bad sometimes). I just wish we could take out the Halloween part of the fall. There are too many things to hate about it, like the costumes, the gory, bloody costumes. It scares the little ones and the big ones don't want cute do-gooder costumes. I hate that I have to spend more money to get them dressed up and money for candy and blah blah blah. I would rather just take the kids to the store, let them buy what candy they want and have a fun home night without the scary part of Halloween. But I will let them decide if they want to freeze to go trick-or-treating. I won't be a scrooge, I will comply.
There is a ton going on so I will update.
Shaylan has started his own business as a Farmers Insurance Agent. If you have insurance needs... your call would be appreciated. You can email too and he will call you.
I am still working in dental offices. I can't get away. Not that I try to hard either. Not driving to Provo, which is pleasant, and working part time now. Loving that I have more time with the boys. I also started a clogging class, something I have missed immensely. Now I just have to learn how to learn again. When you quit something for so long, there is a bit of a learning curve. I haven't learned anything new so quickly for so long now that I am trying to catch up now. It's coming along, I am getting a good workout once a week, and I don't know why I ever quit. Something about the politics of the old situation that make me cringe.
Y started preschool. The we quit. I went to help one day and realized that I was wasting money. It was supervised playtime. I am not paying for that. We will do some home preschool and then try again with another program next year. We still have time.
J is J. Insanely busy and talkative for a two year old. We are trying to decide if I am ready to potty train. he is ready. I am not. Diapers are easier sometimes and I hate the clean up when you potty train. Boys can be a pain too. Playing is better than going potty so there is an insane amount of bribery that goes into potty training. J also knows way to much about what is going on around him. He forms complete sentences that just blow my mind. I wonder how is two year old brain processes all the info sometimes. I guess this is the prime learning time so I should take advantage of it.
I have to admit though. I did not go to school to be a teacher and this is more of a learning process for me than it is for the kids. I don't know where a two or a three year old should be at this point so I am not sure what to work on. I think my kids are smart, but dumb people think their kids are smart. I may fall into this category. Not sure.
Life is life. It goes and goes. Too quickly for me sometimes but we run the rat race just like the rest of you. Try to get ahead, fall behind, and play catch up. That is the way life is right. I have pictures but I hate that blogger is so slow to upload so they will be on facebook and you can click the links to the right to see them all. Thanks for catching up. Hope you call come back soon. Kids do the darnedest things. I will have some stories soon. Just can't think of them right now.

Death Rays, Tasers and Cell Phones
I am always looking for a good laugh. Hilariousness. Robert Kirby is one of those people who invoke fits of gut busting laughs from me. I have a weird sense of humor. Sometimes he is irreverent, which is needed, and sometimes he hits the nail on the head. For instance, the following was posted sometime in the last month:
Kirby: Cell phone is not the problem, it's the idiot holding it

I wish there was a death ray in my truck. I'd use it on people who drive while talking on their cell phones. I'm just not patient enough to wait for them to get brain cancer.
Some goof in front of me would be blathering away to his girlfriend or stock broker while using two lanes to drive and -- ZAP! -- a smoking hole would suddenly appear where his head used to be.
I know what you're thinking -- with advanced death ray technology, couldn't I just shoot the cell phone out of the offender's hand?
You're a child. The phone isn't the problem. It's the guy's head. If he can't figure out that he shouldn't be driving while talking, he doesn't deserve to have one. If he still had a head, he'd just buy another phone.
I realize this isn't entirely safe. Not only would the driverless vehicle suddenly wander out of control (which it was doing anyway), but lining up the shot would also briefly distract me from my own driving.
I don't have a death ray yet, but if I did, it would be exempt under House Bill 95, sponsored by Rep. Phil Riesen, D-Hollady. Although it does send a message, a death ray is not a form of wireless communication.
I haven't read Phil's bill in its entirety (nor do I plan to) but I've heard it's very comprehensive, outlawing all forms of wireless communication while driving including mental telepathy, wishful thinking and even promptings from the Holy Ghost.
Rep. Carl Wimmer, R-Herriman doesn't care for HB95, saying it's too restrictive. Theoretically it would target people who drive just fine while trying to refinance their mortgages by phone.
According to Carl, "Instead of banning bad behavior, we're banning what could possibly lead to bad behavior."
I like this logic and plan on using it the next time the UHP stops me for driving 400 mph.
Hey, speeding isn't bad behavior if I'm doing it successfully.
Trooper » "License and registration, sir."
Me » "Absolutely not. I haven't killed anyone yet. In fact, this stop is illegal and I'm leaving."
After the Taser probes are removed from my forehead and neck, I'll use my cell phone to arrange for bail.
The problem with making it illegal to use a cell phone while driving is the enforcement. How do you prove that someone was actually communicating? You can't tell just by looking at them. What if they just like holding a phone against their head even if no one is on the other end?
All hope is not lost. My Taser incident gives me an idea. What if all drivers were required to wear cell phone-activated shock collars in addition to seat belts? It's pretty hard to talk on a cell phone with your tongue stuck to the windshield.
It's not a death ray, but we'll all be much safer drivers until the technology comes along.
Back to me: I just started a job in Provo (oh the words I would use on myself here I HATE HATE HATE Provo (there is no words to explain this hatred, it's there and deep)) and my commute some days is horrible. With grandma in front of me and the dude next to me who won't turn off his blinker, which means I have no clue when or if I can expect him to move over, I want to SCREAM. And cell phones just make the commute worse. People who don't realize that their exit is in 400 feet (400 feet is a long way to walk but when traveling at 85 MPH, which is common in Utah as we all have to be in front of the guy in front of us, it can be quite a short amount of space) a screech to the right lane and cutting off seven people in the meantime makes for a lovely drive.

WOW. What more can I say? I am the worst blogger in the world. I get on Tara's case about updating her blog so I can see the cute little one and I don't update mine for four months. I am a slacker. How awful can you be? We new year resolution number one (actually the only one): update the blog regularly. What regularly means... we will have to see.
Not much happening in these parts of the woods. Shaylan graduated from the U with his bachelors. Now to find a job. That sucks really bad in this economy. He has the degree but little experience in the professional world. We may have to take drastic measures and join some faction or something. I don't work as much as I used to so we are in desperate need of a full time job for him. I am still selling Lia Sophia and need some shows. I am calling on the love and pity of others and asking you to host shows. They are tons of fun and I do theme party's too!! You pick and I will supply. Anyway... Wyatt turned three in December and we are still potty training. He pretty much has the pee thing down. I am having the hardest time with the poop. Can't figure out why he won't do it in the toilet. Time will pass and he will get it. Patience, NEVER ask for it cause it will come in ways you don't expect it. Jay is growing up too fast. He is almost to full sentences now. He is only 19 months old and I don't think he should be able to talk as well as he does yet. He is way way too smart. Wyatt is quite the older brother; stubborn, bossy, territorial, bossy, typical oldest child. Too much like his mother. Child out for my own heart. Check out the new picts with the link on the side. Thanks for checking back!

Blogger Block (kind of like writers block but I don't really write so this is what you get)
So I was reading Moosh in Indy (whom I love love LOOOOVE(you really should check her out)) and she mentioned something about bloggers block or writing about life without pzazz. Well that is why I haven’t posted in like forever. Nothing exciting going on at all. Other than life in general. Well let’s put some fun into this so called entertainment (although I can’t get a grip on why most would call it entertainment, but if you read moosh you will be entertained).
Things to blog about:
1st love: Kids, which are always fun, but they do the same thing time and time again, which in reality is just annoying. My kids are the only thing I ever write about anyway.
2nd love: husband. He would kill me if I wrote much about him. He thinks he is not such a big shot to be blogged about and hates the fact that I do it now.
So I will blog about the next best thing. FOOD.
So I can’t say that I am some great cook ‘cause I am not. I don’t mind cooking; I am just not inventive or outgoing. I usually cook the same old same old day in and day out. I am not a connoisseur of food. I don’t have the money to be that way. I can’t afford some big fancy shmancy restaurant any time of the year, not even on an anniversary.
BUT I can spend six bucks on a great burger. I am a grease loving, fry junkie. I love greasy fattening food that goes straight to my hips (if you have seen me, I am lucky, I still have the metabolism of a prepubescent girl, which will someday go away(sigh)). ANYWAY, today for lunch we ordered out at training table. For those of you who know me, I love cheese fries (even more when I am a prego) and could eat them all the day long. Add the training table special fry dip and you have heaven. Well today I ordered the westerner burger. WOW! With hickory heavenness and messy to go around, I had it all over my face, hands and pants. Not in my pants just on them. That’s just the clarification for all of you sarcastic weirdo’s out there. When you say training table, I start to drool, get all starry eyed and can’t think of much else. Today was one of those, I need greasy bad for your health, clog your arteries food. With hickory sauce to spare we had lunch. Now I sit here at my desk, supposed to be working, but cant cause of the gut ache I have from gorging and inhaling the goodness, and I just want the day to be over. I want to lie in a cool dark room and just sleep off the overstuffing. Kind of like thanksgiving when you eat way too much turkey and way too many candied yams and wonder why you torture yourself. That’s how I feel now. Why did I eat so much so quickly? Oh well. I will survive and I will make it through. Never tried training table? You are missing out on one great white trash greasy dirty place. But man, sometimes that is the best food ever.

Oh where oh where has my little ball gone?
Types of balls
bouncy
basketball
soccer
football
beach
lacross
baseball
The list could go on and on an on. Jay has finally come out with ihis first word. It is ball. Not mommy, not daddy, not yes, and not no. It is ball. And if you try to take his ball, you will get a blood curdling scream, fists flying, and I can pretty much guarantee you will get hit with that little fist that looks too soft to hurt a fly. He will hurt you though. Just don't take his ball and you will be the best of friends.

Don't rock the boat
Well my kids are water babies. They will be in the water all day if you let them. Sometimes that is very tempting, it keeps them from fighting. Wyatt is doing so well in swim lessons, we decided to keep him there a bit longer. We are starting another session with the private teacher tonight. Last week, he jumped in the water, doggy paddled to the middle, grabbed the toy, and paddled back to the side. ALL BY HIMSELF. I was so proud of him. Way to go buddy. He will be an awesome swimmer within the year. Just have to keep him active. I need to remember to take the camera cause it is way too cute.
Just to update you all on the potty training issue: Well it's been a pain in the but. Wyatt knows that he went he just doesn't know when he has to go. Big difference. He wakes up in the morning dry and immediately goes into the kitchen to eat. He then proceeds to pee on the chair or the floor or wherever he is standing at the current time. Then he just wants to get in the bath cause his legs are "sticky" as he calls it. Wow teaching a child how to control a muscle I can't even control is way too hard. Maybe we need to rethink the whole cold turkey thing and approach this a little different. Oh well. Take it for what it is, smile and move on right. He will learn and so will we.

Potty Training Woes
Well I am taking a step into the unknown. We are going to try to potty train Wyatt. He will be three in December and I am tired tired tired of changing poopy diapers. On top of that, he can take his diaper off any time he wants, which he does frequently. Believe me, I hate this fact and often have to remind him that he has to keep it on. He did the funniest thing at the cabin on Sunday. We were in the river playing in the freezing water. When I finally had to pull him out because his toes were going purple, he came screaming. We had to change his diaper and you know how boys are. Well when I put the diaper on, he put his hand down there and looked at Grandma and said "It's big. It hurts." My mom and I cracked up. I figure when he starts to recognize things like this he is ready to pee and poo in the toilet. He sits on the toilet and pretends that he is going potty, but never does. HELP! We are going cold turkey, no diapers even at night. AHHHHH! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Wish me luck!!
This Month
Wow... it has been forever. I was doing really well keeping up with my posting and then I got busy. Which of course is no excuse. I know. So I have the worst writers block and can't think of what to write. So I will just tell you what we have been up to. First off Wyatt started swim lessons last week. I did private so that he would get one on one time with the teacher and he is catching on so quickly. He has always loved the water, baths multiple times daily, and anytime someone turns the water on, you can bet he is there within seconds. It like a moth to the flame. Then there is Jay. He loves the water but does not like to have his face in the water. He gets in the water well but will not let go of you. Wow can you say Kung Fu grip. I don't have pictures cause I always forget my camera. Well I don't get home early enough to remeber to grab it. I will take some this week and post them later.
Last weekend we went up to Kamas for the annual extended family party. My sister-in-law, Nikki, and her family have a party at their cabin every year for their families and their spouses families. For those of you who know the Franc's, they are not party people. It takes a crow bar to get them anywhere and then they just like to sit and watch. Of course Shaylan's dad didn't go, he has other things to do, but a couple of his sisters did and of course his brother was there. It is good to get out and camp. The best part about it was that we got to use our new tent. Shaylan sold his much wanted hand gun that we finally bought after years (4) of talking about it. He had never even shot the stupid thing. He sold it for what we bought it for minus the tax and bought me my tent. Now this is not just any tent, it's a super expensive tent. I love it and so does he. He can actually stand up in the thing, we can get two queen size air mattresses in there with room to move around, and still have space for our bags. What a great tent. While in Kamas, we played in a horse shoe tournament, which both of us lost, but had fun anyway. The boys loved playing in the pool and the dirt and just hanging out with the other kids their age.
This past weekend (4th of July) we went camping again. We are thinking about making this a regular thing , camping on the weekends. This time we went up to my family cabin in Logan canyon and camped out in the tent again. There wasn't enough room for all the family in the cabin so we decided to use our new tent again. This weekend was fun, with tons of family drama. Always happens with the Bitters family. Anyhow, it was cleaning weekend at grandma and grandpa's and I didn't know so I got to sleep in and hang out with the kids at the cabin while Shaylan helped take the solar panels off the roof at grandma and grandpa's house. When we got there, we just hung out. The kids played with cousins in the back yard and we ate a ton. For dinner all the big kids ( meaning adults(we are still the kids in this family even though I am almost 27)) went to dinner at Hamilton's (I couldn't afford this place anyway so I would have to stay home regardless of being invited or not) and the cousins all stayed at home. We got demoted as we say to eating on the grass and having sloppy joe's which my dad's family calls barbeque's. The drama in the situation is that grandma and grandpa just put carpet on their patio ( who put's carpet on the patio) and didn't want us to spill on it, so we got kicked to the grass. RIDICULOUS. We just laughed as we all sat on the grass with our sloppy joe's. Being adults and having to eat on the grass so we don't spill, whatever. the weekend was fun but I think we were all glad to get home and get back to our rules.
That's about it for us here at the Franc house. I will do better at keeping you all updated.

I have a confession. I am a BLOG STALKER!! I jump and jump. My husband hates hates hates it. He thinks it's just as bad as actually stalking someone. I don't. So for all of you out there who think I don't know where you are I can find you, I know how. Ha Ha Ha! How many of you are blog stalkers? Be truthful. I know you are.
Anyway, there was a point to this post, the other day as I was blog stalking, I came across the funniest blogger out there. You all have got to check her out. Thanks sister for linking her to me. Her name is Casey and her blog is linked right over there. Moosh in Indy. See it? Click on it. NOW! You will find her absolutely hillarious. Have fun:)

Happy Birthday Grandpa
Last Thursday was my grandpa Coburn's (mom's dad) birthday. Although he has been gone for a while now, I couldn't help thinking about him all day long. On top of that we watched "The Bucket List" Thursday night. Great movie for those who haven't seen it. It made me think alot about what grandpa did in life and all he taught me. Just a little background on Grandpa. His name is Jay N. Coburn (we aren't sure if the N stands for Neilsen or just N). I obviously named my second child after Grandpa, in hopes that he turns out to be the kind of man that grandpa was and take his namesake seriously. Grandpa was the most kind, gentle, stern man you will ever meet. He accomplished more in his life than most people do and did it all with dignity. He demanded respect and gave it in return. Grandpa served in WWII, was injured and received the purple heart award. This is the only award he ever showed us but upon his death, we found many, many more he received for his efforts and service. Grandpa was not a religious man, but he taught us to always pray together and remember to thank our Heavenly Father for all he has given us, especially the food on the table and the family to eat it with. He is a man I greatly respect and admire. When I say this, I actually can't put into words the way I feel about grandpa, it just wouldn't do it justice. And on top of that, I break down and cry 'cause I just miss him so much. I know those of you reading this in the family miss him too, it's hard. Just know that we will see him again and we will be a family forever. I have no doubt about this.
Just some life lessons I learned from grandpa:
1 A hard days work is worth more than you will be paid. You earn respect, gain confidence, and can be proud of what was accomplished. Money can't replace those things.
2 Living on a farm is FUN.
3 Respect everyone and they will respect you.
4 Family is more important than any worldly posession.
5 Always remember to have fun. Grandpa was an excellent singer and a well known square dance caller.
6 Finish what you started.
7 Take off your hat in his house (we still do this out of the respect he demanded. I think if he saw us in his house with our hats on, he would come back to haunt us.)
Happy Birthday Grandpa. We miss you!

What's in a name?
So I found this site that tells me what my name means. Is this really me?
| What Traci Means |
You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home. You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily. You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind. A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. |

TTA Tuesday Sight
Here is the picture of the Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep. These are the two that kept rearing and butting heads. I tried to get a picture of them when they were fighting but a dumb car pulled in front of me and stopped right as I snapped the picture. How irritating.
These are my favorite sights, my kids. Here are some random pictures of the boys the last couple days... These show them in their real element. What they are like when they are playing. Seeing them play together is my favorite sight right now.

Here is Wyatt helping Shaylan wash the car... well attmpting anyway. He is obviously on the wrong side of the window. He should be washing the outside not the inside.
Here is Jay on Grandpa's motorcycle. What a doll!!
Here is jay wearing sunglasses. He is such a character.

Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep Story
Well Auntie Fern told the story so I guess I have to update everyone on the story behind the story. My mom tells it better, she was there, I am just relaying what they told me. When we were up in Waterton with Tara and Trent we saw a herd of Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep. The males get pretty big horns and are very territorial. anyways, there were two males walking with each other through the parking lot. The one leading the small group turned on the other and reared up. They started head butting each other. I have never heard something hit so loud. I would think that it would hurt but they kept rearing and head butting each other. Shaylan and I were in our car with Jay and Wyatt was in the car with grandma and grandpa. When he saw them head butting he started telling the story in Wyatt language, which means that you can't understand a word and all you hear is him yelling. Then he took his fists and started hitting them together and making hitting sounds. It was funny to see him so excited to see the sheep hitting each other. Even now when he sees the pictures of the sheep, he tells the story again, yelling, noises, and fists and all. pretty funny. He sure is an animated little kid. I will post the pictures that I was able to get later, but for now this is the story.

Jay is 1!!!
Well my baby turned 1 on Thursday. It's a sad day but a happy one too! I just want him to be a baby forever, but alas they must grow. Both had to go to the doctor and they ended up with shots in their legs. Shaylan had a hard time with helping (meaning holding them while the nurse gave them the shots) but he helped Wyatt get through it bravely. I will have to say I will be glad when both of them are out of diapers.
Unless you have two in diapers, you have no clue what a crunch it is on the pocket book.
Here are some pictures of the big day. He had no problem digging into his cake, face first and all. The kid loves to eat so he has no problem eating whatever I put in front of him.
He got tons of toys, which for a 1 year old is kind of funny cause they can't really play well. He obviously loves the animals the best, look at that adorable face.
We had his birthday party at Murray Park, to accomadate both sides of the family. We got a badminton set so that the kids had something to do while we partied, but it ended up being the adults playing a rather hilarious game.
Thanks to all who came. We appreciate all the love and support that our families show us every day! We love you Jay!Canada Trip 08
Well I am dumber than I thought. I posted a slide show (which isn't working and I can't figure out why so I deleted it) on our Canada trip but never gave an explanation on the pictures or anything. Here it goes. My family (mom, dad, Erin, Eric (Erin's fiance), Nate, Greg, Me, Shaylan, Wyatt, Jay, and Brittany (Greg's girlfriend)) all took a weekend trip up to Tara and Trent's house last month. We left on April 30th (Dad's 53rd birthday (happy birthday)) and drove bloody forever to get there. I had to put new tires on the car just to get there but thanks to dad's love he paid for them. I still owe him a ton of money so just put it on the tab. I am working that off by doing odds and ends around their house, mostly by working on their deck. Anyways... back to the point here, we drove for just under 13 hours to get there. Tara and the great sister that she is hosted a Lia Sophia show for me and I had the best show ever. I just sent her all of her free jewelry and her show. I hope she loves loves loves it. We took Friday to catch up on sleep and just visit so that was great. Saturday we went to Trent's parents house to ride horses.
That is where most of the pictures are from. Wyatt went crazy when he saw all the horses. He absolutely loves horses. He would not get off, even though it was freezing cold. The wind blew and blew and it was pretty cold. Jay liked being on the horse but was pretty apprehensive about riding too far from the wall. The cutest thing happened there too. Trent's dad has a barn full of baby lambs. They were so friendly. Wyatt wanted to pet one so he stuck his hand through the gate.
One of the lambs started sucking on his fingers. He laughed, said, "mommy gook" (which is look in Wyatt language) and stuck his hand back through the gate. He loved the lambs. All the big kids went on a longer ride, I almost got bucked off the wild one, but stood my ground and stayed on, and came back an hour later with bruises on my legs. We sure had fun riding. I wish I had a place to keep horses cause I would have go get some. What a great teaching tool. Saturday night we went out to Waterton Natn'l park and drove around. That is where the waterfall pictures come in.
My husband is a dork, I know. Just look at the goofy faces he makes.
We had fun in Waterton but were glad to get on the road back to Tara's house. On Sunday, Tara and Trent had Blake blessed. That was the main reason we went up in the first place. Visiting her was tons of fun. Seeing her in her element makes me realize how old we are and how much she has grown up. I still think of her as the little sister. I'm not old enough to have kids which means she is way too young to have kids, but I guess I am wrong and we are old enough to have kids. Life goes so quickly. We had a great time and hope to make it up there sooner than later this time. Love ya sis!!

TTA IT"S TUESDAY (WEDNESDAY)
Now on to more important things. Here is this week's TTA (eventhough it's Wednesday). GRADUATION. Tell about yours....
Well the last thing I graduated from was high school; I still haven't finished college. With kids and a husband in college it's hard for both of us to do it at the same time. Not enough money, time, patience, etc etc etc. High school is too hard to remember as it is. It seems like just yesterday and yet it seems like a millenia past. I just remember being so excited to get out and do what I want and not have to worry about homework and grades. How I wish I could go back sometimes. No worries at all really. Life was much simpler and hassle free. But I can say that I absolutely love where we are right now and wouldn't trade my wonderful husband and kids for the riches of the world.

Update on Tara's Family Mostly Blake Though
This is cute Blake on the day he was blessed in his blessing outfit. This is probably the most coherent he was the whole time we were there. Like I said what a doll.
This is Tara on her Birthday. She is so so old now. She is 24. WOW huh!!!
Here is Trent holding Blake. Not the best picture of the two of them but it's okay. These are the only one's that I have so when she sends more I will try to post them.
Just a quick update
I guess I need to update you all on the family too huh... Well Shaylan has one semester left in school and he will have his bachelor's degree. He is currently looking for a job that will allow me to stay home with the kids a little more. I am working to get him through school and paying the bills. Wyatt and Jay are growing up too fast as you can see in all of the pictures. Jay turns one this week. I can't believe it's been a year already. That is just too scary. Wyatt is doing well. He had his eye surgery in the beginning of April and seems to be using that eye more and more each day. Jay is learning to walk. He tries to take a couple steps and then realizes that Wyatt is close by and sits down. I think he is just a chicken. He can walk but won't. Wyatt is such a pest to his younger brother. Anytime Jay tries to play with his toys or do what Wyatt is doing, Wyatt just pushes him away or punches him or sits on him. Today Wyatt tried to ride Jay like a horse. Jay was screaming but it was funny. Wyatt just loves horses so when anyone is on their knees, Wyatt thinks it is an invitation to get on their back and ride like the wind. Jay has quite the temper and little personality. He already reacts to things with temper tantrums. It is hilarious to see him throw himself on the floor and kick and scream. I just have to remember to not let him see me laughing. I love seeing them grow and learn. It's the best thing in life right now that's for sure. I will try to keep you all updated a little better.

Wow it's been like FOREVER
Well I haven't posted in forever. It's been crazy. With Lia Sophia shows, and our trip to Canada, and work and work and work, it gets hard to find the time to sit down at the computer to find something to say. Here are some cute pictures of the kids from the last couple weeks. I am getting better at taking pictures all the time. I forget that I need to do it regularly.

Jay loves hats, especially his BOB the BUILDER hard hat!

Jay and auntie Erin. Both Wyatt and Jay ADORE Erin. Lucky her. They go to her before anyone else.
Wyatt and Jay all ready for bed, toothbrushes and all.
Wyatt went to Primary Childrens Hospital surgery prep day before he had his eye surgery. This is him in the only thing that he wouldn't scream with, the surgical cap. They also gave him a hospital buddy, he chose the ugliest one there. Surprised me that's for sure.

Jay loves hats, especially his BOB the BUILDER hard hat!

LIA SOPHIA

Well i am a jewelry FANATIC!!! I love it. I wear it all the time. So I was at my sister in law's house at a Lia Sophia Party and I bought some jewelry. I loved it so I scheduled a party so I could get lots of free jewelry. I had my party and Shaylan just asked me why I didn't sell it. So I signed up to sell it. I am just starting out an in need of some party's, so if any of you would like some free jewelry, give me a call and I will get it scheduled. YES I am soliciting your help but hey what are friends and family for right?? CALL ME!
Cutest pictures

My cute two boys

Jay and Wyatt just this last month. This is the only picture we could get of the two of them smiling. The girl taking the pictures was screaming and yelling and trying to be loud and funny. The two boys just kept staring at her. They had this look of total disgust on their faces. It was pretty funny although it did get old pretty quick. They sure are cute kids though aren't they.
Ready Set GO!!
Well here we are joining in with the in crowd. There are too many of you out there to keep up with, so I decided that this is the way to let you all in on our daily lives. Keep posted for more to come!!
Just an update:
Wyatt and Jay are growing faster than I can keep up with. Wyatt is going in for surgery on his eye on April 9th to have a permanent lens placed. That way I am not fighting with contacts anymore. They were just getting too expensive to keep loosing them weekly and monthly. I am excited to finally get it done, but I am nervous at the same time. This will be his third surgery on his eye so it does get easier. Jay is Jay. He is already trying to walk and keep up with his older brother. Shaylan is doing well in school. He just took on a project with a PHD student to do surveys on interactions. I am not exactly sure what that means, he tries to explain what is considered an interaction but to me it's all mumbo jumbo. He is working at a law firm doing data entry, but that will give him the advantage when he applies for law school this summer. I just got over the flu or something that felt like it was going to kill me.
