Kennedy's 8

Our little girl is getting baptized on Saturday. I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday McKenna was turning 8. She was so nervous about her interview with the Bishop (I can relate ;)) When we finally got home she started crying. I thought she was nervous and scared so I was trying to console her and tell her she didn't need to be scared and she said "Mom, I'm not sad their tears of joy!" (Melting moment)

We tried to drop the kids off. They wouldn't take them. Figures!

McKenna's Competition

We traveled (a week before school started) to Watsonville, CA for the National Vaulting Competition so McKenna could compete. She did really well. I was so proud of her. She did not place in her individual classes, but her team class took 2nd over all. The pictures are not the greatest but hopefully it will give you an idea.

Poor Gunnar

This was just a few hours after surgery so basically he was still high and loving life---a couple of hours later it was not the same story.

Knuckles

He is really learning all kinds of wonderful things. The kids have taught him to give knuckles. Our ward thinks it's really funny. So after church he gets a lot of opportunities to 'give knuckles'.

24th Parade

This was Gunnar's first official trip out. McKenna was in the parade for her vaulting. I think she had a fun time! People screaming your name---who wouldn't!

Camping

We ended up taking a quick camping trip before Gunnar had his surgery. It was a ton of fun. I wish we could find, no make more time for things like this.
