It has been a while since I posted.  I got bronchitis or something like that.  Gosh, high fever and all, but I am getting better and it is wonderful! Good Afternoon.  I'm feeling a tiny bit better.  I am sipping on chicken soup.  It always seems to help!  It is so hot here and it seems like getting out in the heat makes having a cold worse.  I'm ready to paint, but I think I will design again. Good Morning!  I apologize for neglecting my blog once again, but I have really been under the weather.  I'm not back to my self yet but I am working on it.  So many doctor visits and I'm still coughing.  I mean coughing.  I can't even hardly talk without coughing.  I've taken lots of anti biotics and it seems like every natural thing I can read about on the internet or advice from friends.  Sometimes I just think it lasts a long time and I have just got to be patient.  As long as the fever is gone, im better. There has been a nice sale at Painting With Friends.  And, it is still going on. Lots of nice pattern packets for the holidays!  We're having a little Christmas in August as well.     This is the time of year I should be painting an stocking up on my holiday treasures.  I always say that, but with the designing and painting it is hard to do.  All I know is I am ready to paint for my favorite season, FAll.    The colors are just my favorite!  Oranges, yellows, greens, and even purple!  I'm jotting down and designing new things now that I want to paint and share!  I've had a lot of time to add new doodles to my little journal book that I carry around with me at all times!  I love journals.  Everytime I see one, I can't be without it.  I have always had a love for paper, especially when it is bound in a fun decorated journal!        I would like to have a little give away right now. New Ebay Listings

An Americana Santa

An Americana Santa~~I just finished this Santa last night.  He is painted on an ol rake that I found in Colorado recently at a thrift store.  It had a wonderful painting surface.  I am always not wanting to paint on old things, but this one was damaged and you can always remove the acrylic paint and it will be just like before.  Also I hope that it will give you ideas that you could cut something out like this, or paint the Santa on lots of different surfaces!  This Santa was inspired by Christmas in July celebration and sale at:  Painting With Friends~~http://paintingwithfriends.blogspot.com/.  I am working on two pattern packets today and should have them ready very soon!  Thank you so much Painting With Friends.  I love being a part of this talented group of artists! 

Stars, Pears, Hearts

Finished just now my project for Painting With Friends, Christmas in July.   Stars, Pears, Hearts.  I painted this Wood Lazy Susan that measures 16 inches in diameter.  I have painted little roly poly Santas on to the star, pear and heart shapes.  This was a fun piece to paint.  I will have a pattern packet for it soon.  This piece is available for sale also if you would be interested, please email me at:  [email protected].  Thank you !  Happy Painting!

So Much Fun!

I've seen the best Christmas pattern packets being created by the Painting With Friends artists and it is really inspiring.  I have been choosing a design of my own to paint and I really have to get with it!  I'm painting today and will continue until I get my pattern packet ready.  Thank you all so much!    This is so much Fun!

Good Morning!  I have taken a little time off, but now it is back to  fun work for me!  I have enjoyed family and sunshine for a while.  It was so nice.    Gosh, I can't believe it is almost July!  Something about July the Fourth that has always been a favorite holiday of mine!  Even though the weather is pretty hot here, planning a fun Fourth is always an exciting time.  A nice cool drink, lots of hot dogs and relish, potato salad, yummy pies and of course the sound and bursting of color of FiRe CracKErs~~~~  so back to painting....this is one of my favorite Americana projects and it is in my new book...A New Day And A Little Whimsy!   Happy Painting!!!!
