Pictures of our Open House 2010

Another weekend is almost upon me as I sit here and type this. I was hoping to get pictures of our Open House posted much sooner, but between lots of homes losing power for two days from last Sunday's storm and putting in lots of time at work (where we were also without power for two days, well let's just say, I'm glad this week is over. Today was a beautiful, sunlit day. The perfect way to end the chaotic and crazy week I've had.

Last week was our annual Holiday Open House and what a fun weekend it was! I was so blessed by the number of blogging friends as well as many other friends, co-workers and aquaintances that came out to visit us. Personally, I had a blast visiting and talking with everyone. That is always the highlight of my weekend.

So, without further adieu, here are some pictures that I took last Friday night before the Open House on Saturday. Sorry for the lighting as I had to use my flash and it seems like the pictures are really washed out. I'll also give you fair warning, this will be a picture heavy post. I'll let the pictures speak mostly for themselves but I might add a bit here and there. :)
A chalkboard I made using an old cupboard door.

My hubby made all the wall boxes. I'm happy to say they all sold!

My mom makes all the quilted items. She does amazing work!

The Settle Bench that my sweetie made. It didn't sell, so it has now found a new place in our home. :) I can't say that I'm disappointed. LOL!

The soaps were made by a dear friend that I work with.

The decorative plates and jewelry were made by another good friend that I work with.

This picture is a blogging friend, Kelly, myself, my friend Lynda and Kelly's mother Jean. I feel like we could have talked forever!!! They are two of the sweetest people!

This picture is Lynda, Diane, Ingrid and myself. Ingrid and Diane are another mother & daughter blogging friends. They too were so sweet and fun to talk to. They made quite a trip to get here too! I can't tell you how much fun it was to meet and talk with all these ladies. There were many more blogging friend too, but I forgot to take my camera out on Saturday and then on Sunday, the battery died right after I took this picture of the four of us. Sorry to all the other blogging friends that I forgot to take pictures. I was just caught up in the excitement of the day and the blessing of meeting and talking with you all.

To each and every one of my blogging friends, who've taken the time to read my blog, post comments, send e-mails and come visit me at the Open House... Thank YOU!! You have all touched my heart in a way that I never would have thought possible. What a treasure to meet kindred spirits whom I never may have met otherwise. I count myself blessed to have come in contact with you all in one way or another. May God richly bless you all!
