Off To College!

Ayden is basically off to college! She is getting so big and can do so many big girl things. Ever since she learned how to crawl, she only wants to stand and walk. In a matter of seconds she is by my leg helping me cook in the kitchen and unloading the dishwasher. She smiles for the camera on cue and cuddles up with Dad. I can't believe how fast she is growing!

The News Is In

And so it is....

DAYTON, OHIO

Yes, you might be thinking "where is Dayton or maybe even where is Ohio?" We had the exact same thoughts. It was so far down on our wish list for the Air Force Advanced Education for General Dentistry that we didn't even bother to look into it. Not gonna lie...we were pretty disappointed and bit angry at first (and maybe still) but it is only one year so anything is doable for a year. I already checked to make sure a Wal-mart is near by for survival. Ya know maybe Colorado, California, or D.C. is over rated.
It's your lucky day! You finally have a FREE place to stay in Ohio!

I added a few pics of Ayden taken with our new camera as a pick me up.
Enjoy.

Our Little Pumpkin

It was Ayden's first Halloween and we celebrated all month long. She helped Patrick carve the pumpkin (or watched) and he completed it with nice dental work. Don't want a dentist's pumpkin having bad teeth...so embarrassing! She enjoyed her trip to the pumpkin patch and playing in the hay. It still feels a bit unusual picking out a pumpkin in 90 degree weather, but the pictures are priceless. She's such a big girl now enjoying her veggies and fruits, finally napping well, and crawling inch worm style all over the house. She loves playing games with dad, her grandparents, and when Aunt Jill and Uncle Richard come to babysit. She is quite the talker and loves attention. She has two new teeth poking through on the bottom (just in time to stop breastfeeding!). Now all we have to do is potty train her so I don't have to change her "solid foods" diapers which could be used as a deadly weapon!
