Halloween this year was a cold one but it didn't stop these kids from having a blast.
They picked out their own costumes and we even recycled a few.
This was the first ward Halloween party I was in charge of as Primary President. That night was a really bad snow storm, but we held the party anyways and had a good turnout. The kids trick-or-treated inside which turned out to be awesome and warm.
The last kid to be the Park Ranger. This outfit has been the cutest 4 times over!
The kids are legit pumpkin carvers now so it's fun seeing their creations and being proud of their work.
Ayden was Hermoine with the real robes, wand, and even Hedwig.
Gavin wanted to be something really scary and dug this out of Patrick's childhood costume box.
The bottom half is an old Care Bear costume topped with the scary mask. He loved it.
Raegan changed her mind every day until Halloween when she decided on a bat for some reason. But she was the cutest bat there ever was.
Frozen II was about to be released so the kids had gotten back in to the Frozen movie. We had this costume from Gavin at this age and Aislin was equally as cute as Olaf. She loved being dressed up and was a huge hit at every door step. She definitely stole the show.
Do you wanna build a snowman?
Who could resist?
The girls carved cats.
Naturally, Gavin did a scary face made of flames.
We trick-or-treated around our own neighborhood this year which is always fun. I love our neighborhood. Everyone is so friendly and enthused and loves to participate in community events. Plus, the candy is always good too.
The weather ended up being pretty pleasant that evening so the kids were out for a long time and brought home a ton of candy.
Happy Halloween!
