Train Ride on the North Pole Express. Fun, fun, fun. The best part was listening to Kate's version of Santa Baby on the car ride home. Choir kids performed on each of the cars, so we tagged along. Santa Baby was Kate's favorite, for sure.

The trimming (and trimming, and trimming) of the tree. I think the kids redecorated it five times and every day since. Good thing we have shatterproof ornaments within reach of the older kids and nothing in reach of Andrew. (You can see that he is trying to get to them, but no luck.)

Love these two when they are like this.
Here's a little sample of what we've been up to, minus thanksgiving pictures and black friday antics. I am excited as well, about being "accepted" to teach "Let's Play Music" curriculum in my home starting next fall. Also, you can't see it, but Kate is sporting a brand new pair of chompers and looks more normal now. (Have to say that she isn't loving them yet, but I am sure she will get used to them. The first night she prayed that they would essentially go away.)
I love this time of year for everything it offers. We've done some fun things, with more to come. I am loving the extra discussion about Christ with my little ones. I found a little printable binder that has scripture references and songs and pictures to teach about Christ and keep the focus on him during the month and I have to say I have loved it. It's nothing fancy, just all typed up and ready for me to use so it actually happens.
