Halloween

We had a lot of fun this Halloween. Our ward had a Trunk or Treat the weekend before Halloween. The kids love that! A photographer friend of ours did a photo fundraiser to raise money for a girl in our ward who has had some major medical expenses. These Halloween studio portraits were done by Julie Campbell. Halloween night, we were split up. Ryan had a party with friends, Amber was off with friends, and the younger kids went over to see Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of partying, but I'm ready to move on to the next holiday.

Halloween Night

School and birthdays

It's past time for an update. Here's some pictures from the first day of school. We celebrated Ryan's birthday in September, and Amber's birthday in October. We had new family pictures taken by a friend from church(see above). Hopefully more pictures to come.

I haven't been keeping up with my photo collages. I put two together tonight from end of year activities, and I have one I did on Mother's Day. Ready or not, summer is here!

Sarah's Birthday

Sarah's birthday was on a Friday, and it was Dave's day off. While the other kids were at school, we took Sarah to JCPenney's in the morning for a photo session. It turned out great! She was in a great mood for having her picture taken, and I loved how they turned out! I'll see if I can find a picture of her birthday cake we had on the night of her birthday.

Christmas

We were in Utah for Christmas this year. These are pictures from the family Christmas party held at Jones Cottage. Lots of food, fun, and family!


We also got together with Dave's brother, Jeff, and his family. The kids love seeing their cousins.

Carving Pumpkins

We carved our pumpkins tonight. We tried out using paper patterns this year, and it was fun. Carving pumpkins is a lot of work, though! The kids loved the end result.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We visited the Pumpkin Patch on one of Dave's off Fridays. It's a yearly tradition, and we all look forward to it. The kids love it, and Sarah really had fun with everyone. The corn maze is always a favorite. We love the Fall!
