*mushroom update*
After coming home from the haircut, washing and styling, it isn't as terrible as I thought. But I still don't love it like I was hoping to. Many have people have told me that it is fine and they don't see the mushroom problem. That is because I flat ironed the mushroom out. It is still very much alive and thriving. Rocky has convinced me to let it go for a month. If after that point I am still bothered I will be given an advance in haircut allowance. Meaning a haircut would soon follow. I will keep you posted.
Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures
Little background for those who have yet to get to know me well. If I were to describe my general cooking level I would say I'm at the Kindergarten level. When it comes to cooking meat/meat things I'm in pre-school and still having a hard time touching it raw. You can get cooties from raw meat you know.
Now for my short little story. My sister, Jamie, called me today to ask how to make gravy. I laughed and though to myself, "did she mean to call me?" I asked her if she remembered that I don't even eat gravy and then laughed some more. I then told her how to make gravy and the only reason I know how to do that is because of my cute Grandma Roberts who taught me how to make it when we were living with her. No offense to all the other wonderful family members I have lived with that would have been happy to teach me how, I was in my selfish stage and not into learning such domestic things. Anyway back to Jamie. So I told her how to make gravy, she said good bye and we hung up. I told Rocky what just happened and he was surprised that I got the call. I told him that she probably all ready tired Jacque with no luck and Mom was at church so I was the last resort. He thought I should call and verify...so I did and I was right. Jamie said that Jacque didn't answer and Mom was at church. All in all I was honored to even be in the resort.
The End

Mushrooms

I'd say generally I am a fan of mushrooms. They are good in salads, they can go with so many foods, they can be used for medicine and they are very appropriate for little mini cartoon troll homes. They should NOT however, be used as a template for a haircut. My most recent hairdresser does not understand this and not so kindly gave me the mushroom cut last night. I am so sad. I even tried to help, but when I could see I was not getting though I accepted the defeat. She was the one holding the scissors. I paid for the awful mushroom style and left.
I am now looking for someone who specializes in fixing mushroom cuts. I'm accepting all applications. I can't pay much as the mushroom lady took most of my haircut budget. But I will bring my camera and take pictures of your most professional hair cutting skills and I'll gush about you and how wonderful you are. Any takers?
**please don't ask to see a current picture of the mushroom. the camera has been band until further notice.**
