CRASH!

Yes, the unthinkable happened. Our less then a year old macbook crashed. The hard drive died. Rocky and I had talked numerous times about how he should back everything up and we should probably get him an external hard drive and with time machine everything is so easy.....but it just didn't happen. Now the lesson has been learned. (oh and I am saying "I told you so" but not like super loud or boisterous cause I'm nice like that.).

I do have to say that Apple was super fantastic. I called at noonish and we had a new hard drive and the computer up and running by 5:00. I liked that. I was worried that it would take forever and cost a ton. It pretty much just cost us a gallon or two in gas. Not too shabby. All in all I would have rather not had to go through the experience but it was good for Rocky. He now has an external hard drive on its way to our house.

Now a quick note to people who make and sell clothes that I like.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop. It is just too hard to look and not buy. Your economy boosting prices are tempting but still aren't low enough for me to cover the bill.

Dear Mr. President,
While you are giving out money why not add in a little clothing rebate. I promise I'll spend every last penny.

Reasons to smile:

1 Looking at pictures from Christmas that were on my camera that was lost since Christmas because I put it in my messy....but now clean office

2 Watching our ward's mens basketball teams play each other. Rocky's team won! Well the real treat was the little boy and little girl that were in front of us kissing. Their mom's would try to stop them and let them know that hugging was okay but kissing was not. Sometimes you can't keep true love apart even at the age of 3 and 4.

3 Having to jump start the car 3 times in two weeks. Rocky is learning that it is easier to just turn off the lights instead of finding someone to jump the car. That is a MAJOR reason to smile.

4 Our cabinets are almost done.

5 A new brother-in-law and sister-in-law this summer

6 A new niece in a couple months

7 Working for a Urologist - I'm sorry but some things are just funny.

8 Friends with growing families - Congrats Mindy!

9 No more snow

10 Funny stories about my parent's neighbor mom. This is an inside joke, sorry for those of you who don't get it.
