Some updates

Here are some of the fun things that have been happening.

 Visitors - SOOOO much fun.

Baby Showers - Wonderful wonderful friends.  THANK YOU!
Sleepover!
Huge amount of snow - lots of shoveling.
Brian Regan with some awesome friends.  Brought me to tears, really good tears

The final countdown

Tomorrow I will have only 3 weeks (hopefully less) left of this pregnancy.

Wahoooooo....I think

Here are the latest stats
Me
- bigger than ever. Even the maternity clothes are feeling the stretch.
- cankles used to shrink at night time, now they are a permanent feature.
- sorry if this is too much to share, but I feel like I'm carrying around a 15 lb. bowling ball in the lower regions.  I REALLY hope the baby isn't that big
- I'm dilated to a one
- I can put a duck's waddle to shame
- I sometimes forget that I am pregnant until I try to move, then it becomes quite obvious I am.
- Luckily I'm still sleeping, but the bathroom breaks are growing in number.

Rocky
- hasn't gained one pound of sympathy weight
- has a new love of ear plugs (apparently I breathe a little too loud at night time)
- is also amazed at the size in which my body has grown
- learned from the Dr. how to check my cervix, although I don't know that either of us are comfortable trying this at home.
- was able to get ahead in school so he can enjoy some baby time
- has become my personal chauffeur - and now drops me off and picks me up in front of the building I work in.

The Boy's room
- just got the carpet cleaned (thanks Jacque)
- still needs paint
- still needs a lot of work.

And finally to satisfy all those who want to see me in all my big glory......... here is a picture

4.5 weeks left

I am getting huge.  My Dr. says I'm normal.  I don't feel normal and I certainly don't feel like I look it.  Even the maternity pants are getting tight.  I asked the Dr. today, not my regular but the stand in if my Dr. can't make it, if I can be induced.  She basically said no.  :(  I'll ask BEG my real Dr. next appointment.

We are getting so excited for the little guy to officially join the family....meaning that I'm not the only one who carries him around.  Its so fun to feel him little kicks and movements.  Not so much fun to feel the ones the go to the ribs.  Luckily he has only done that once, so far.  I'm okay with it just being once.

Some things that I find are funny at this point in my pregnancy.
My belly button goes in and out when I laugh.
Bending over usually requires some sort of grunt.
I've managed to get some cankles without rolling my ankle.
I've only shaved my legs twice.  Rocky is sweet and says that he can't really tell.
Waking up to go to the bathroom, finding that I have been sleeping on my back, and my attempt to   walk to the bathroom.  (I think it probably looks pretty funny)

Some things that I am questioning at this point in my pregnancy.
Is the facial fat really necessary?
Can my belly get any bigger?
Are there going to be leakage problems before the little guy comes?
Can I make it without buying bigger clothes?

Time is going so slow and yet so fast.  YIKES!
