The pictures don't do it justice. I was terrible at capturing this crowd.

the Birds
One morning we were in our kitchen and all of the sudden there was a loud noise in the back yard. Its hard to describe...it just sounded busy. Rocky opened the door and we saw hundreds and hundreds of birds. They were everywhere. Of course when we opened the door they flew. We tried to capture them but everytime we moved they moved.

weeeeeeeeee
So each week we try to participate in Playgroup. If you aren't familiare it is where a group of people get together to let their kids play and adults chat. Sometimes we meet at the library, sometimes the church, sometimes the park...just all over the place. One week we went to the Jumpzone. I think that is what it was called. They have the huge blowup slides. James and I had a great time. Those slides are HUGE and I was nervous about climbing up them myself. I thought there would be NO WAY that James would do it himself. After a couple of times up with me he was good on his own and IT WAS SO HARD FOR ME. I usually followed pretty close behind, but not always. My little guy is growing up.
Here are some photos of our fun.

Lucky number 7
Logan is 7 months and chunking right up like we had hoped. I weighed him a couple days ago and it looks like he has gained 2+ pounds in a month. Woohoo. He has his official weigh in Friday.
Logan is rolling all over the place these days. It is no longer safe to have him on the bed. I'm always surprised when I leave the room and come back a minute later and he is in a totally different place. He is getting fast. He is pretty good at rolling to me when I put my arms out to him.
He is LOVING James. He is LOVING James hair. I think two of his favorite things to do right now - besides eating are - pulling James hair and pulling out James binky. These things happen often because James is constantly in Logan's face. Brotherly love.
Logan loves sitting on the potty. In fact often times when I change his diaper he will get fussy if I don't put him on the potty first. He almost always tinkles in the potty. Hopefully he will be easy to train....or maybe I'm just setting myself up for a HUGE failure.
I'm slow at introducing lots of solidish foods to Logan. He has had avacado, rice, peas, oatmeal, beans and carrots. We just did oatmeal, beans and carrots this week.
He LOVES his binky and seems to fall asleep much better if he has two binky's in bed.
We started saying "uh-oh" to him with things fall and I swear he tries to say it back. It is so cute.
He talks a lot.
He likes to play with the toys that James is playing with. This is hard for James which makes it hard for Logan which makes it hard for mom. A very vicious cycle.
Logan LOVES me right now. He LOVES me to hold him. So James has become a little more needy too.
Logan likes to stand up. He doesn't jump like most kids. Just stands there. Actually if he is in his jumper he shuffles he little feet. "Everyday he's shufflin."
When I get him up from sleeping he usually puts his head on my shoulder and pats my back. It is so sweet.
We have attempted to put Logan and James in the same room together a few times now. James hates it and asks us to take him out because he wants to sleep alone. If I don't take Logan out they both cry and we end up worse then we started out.
He is napping much better these days. He usually has 3 naps and they vary in length from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours.
He does pretty well in the stroller and loves to watch everything that is going on. He isn't a huge carseat fan but we are managing ok.
He has a cute little laugh and a sweet smile.
