Lately

James had his first day of Preschool - It is with one of his best friends.  We are just doing it here our home and theirs.  James was bummed at first.  "But your not my teacher - you are my mom" and "My house isn't school - I need to go to school."   He survived - I survived and he called even me "teacher" all during school.

I really hope that we all end up liking this.  It was fun and James is well on his way to learning his first scripture.  After one day of school and one day of follow-up he still has no idea what the letter of the week is (I don't think he understands it at all).  He is learning how to sweep (his life skill this week).  The scripture story we are covering this week is The Creation.

Here is James being a Robot.  He built it with his dad and LOVED it.

Here is what he wears underneath the robot get up.  It's his brothers pj shorts.  They look like undies and fit like undies.  He thought it was so funny.

I've been pulling and picking off this Classy wallpaper.  It actually wasn't bad - I did it while the kids were taking their baths.  Now the walls are white and wanting some color.

Another James selfie - taking photos of himself is probably on his top ten things to do everyday.

Brotherly Love.

One more of Logan - look at those whispys.  He is maybe getting enough hair for a hair cut but not really.

14 months

We have a walker.  Logan has practiced and practiced and practiced walking.  This kiddo has some determination.  He loves to carry balls while he walks, which is just what his brother liked to do.  Maybe it's a boy thing?

He is getting more teeth.  Pretty soon he will have a full mouth.  Those pearly whites are cute but if his current look (a few gaps and some turning teeth) is any indication of what his mouth will look like later he will 100% be in braces.  100%  We should probably start the fund now.

He is starting to fold his arms and bow his head to pray.  Sometimes he needs to do it 50 times during dinner....and most times he wants to hear us say "Amen."  There are lots of "Amens" happening during meal times.  Somehow it doesn't translate to family prayers.

Logan is a mommas boy - 110%.  He cries when anyone other than mom looks at him.  Okay it isn't that bad - but if you look like you are going to take him out of mom's arms HE WILL CRY.  Even if you are his dad.  Right now I'm pretty much the cream of the crop in my boy's eyes.  I'm okay with that.

Logan has started his nursery count down.  He is four months away and SOOO badly wants to be in nursery with his big brother.  They will just miss each other.  :(

Logan likes to sit on the potty
He doesn't like sippy cups.  He likes mom to give him a cup - and he likes mom to hold the cup.
He is understanding so much and not speaking so much.
He says "momma", "ma", "mmmm"
He used the sign for milk a couple times.  Then he decided to drop it cause it's way better having mom just guys what he wants.
He is climbing
He loves to be outside - I really wish the temp. would drop a few more degrees and we would spend more time out there.
He climbs up the stairs well and is learning how to go back down.
He loves to get in the tub - but no longer likes to lay down.
He will put his dirty clothes in the dirty pile.
He loves praise.
He isn't loving bananas as much.  He is hard to please when it comes to eating.  The sweeter the better.
He points and grunts like crazy
He is still doing two naps a day.
He loves to play with the ipad.  He figured out how to turn the screen on and pretty much thinks he is a pro now.
He likes to play catch.
He loves to cuddle his brother's teddy bear and his brother's special blanket.  This causes contention.
He sleeps with two binkies.
He wants to do whatever James is doing.  This causes contention
He has the cutest smile and gives super sweet hugs and kisses.  Love this guy.
