The STACHE
This year Rocky decided to participate in No Shave November. I like the first picture and then for me it gets progressively worse. Yes he did wear the handlebars to work.
16 months/ 17 months
Logan is almost 17 months so I am probably going to confuse the two months so I will just combine them. * this post is a month old....so now he is closer to 18 months. YIKES
Logan received his first hair cute - pretty sure this was a 16 month occurrence. The second I started cutting it I felt like crying. My BABY. He looks a little older. His little mullet was so cute. It was a middle of the back of his head kind of mullet. Nothing down low. I could put that thing in a pony tail. It was time for it to go...the worst part is that I didn't take any pictures. :(
James and Logan are becoming better and better friends/brothers. The love to give hugs to each other and generally like to be in the same room together.
Logan had a little accident on Thanksgiving which knocked his front tooth loose. (thanks to his brother). Because of that I decided that I wouldn't be able to give him his binky. (His teeth were looking bad before the accident and I didn't want the bad to turn to worse) So I laid him down for bed. Gave him all his normal bed things - blanket and rabbit and said good night. He talked to me in his jibber jabber and held up his hands. I knew he was questioning where his binky was. I didn't say anything about it, said good night and left. He didn't cry - just went to sleep. That went 200 times better than I could have imagined. He has been pretty good since. He kept questioning me with his hands at night..I just deflected the question. He isn't sleeping as long but I'm hoping that will change.
He got his first ear infection (17 months)
He LOVES shoes. He LOVES candy. HE LOVES MARSHMALLOWS.
He likes to hit.
He is really into this windmill type of hit that I'm pretty sure he learned from James. He does it to himself. He does it to windows and doors. He does it to me. He does it to the Christmas tree. Basically if it can be hit he feels that I needs to be hit. Windmill style.
He loves to be outside and cries when I tell him no. He thinks that the road is the best place to play.
I love how he clasps his hands behind his back and walks around.
He laughs at us and he laughs at himself
He doesn't say much but seems to understand plenty
He has started to run
He likes to play, he isn't into watching shows. He seems to do pretty well playing by himself. He usually checks in for a hug and then goes back to playing
He is always sad when he wakes up from his nap and James isn't up yet. James is the same way too. He begs and begs for the chance to check on Logan to see if he is awake.
He isn't much into eating these days. He can't be bothered with such things when there is playing to do.
He claps when he is excited about something.
He loves to do what James is doing - lots of Monkey see Monkey do. It is generally awesome when James is doing awesome things. :)
We just love this little boy. We still call him a baby and think he looks like a baby...so we treat him like one.
