20 months to 26 months - Logan

Poor Logan has fallen into the second child trap.  I missed his monthly posts.  I'm a little bummed about it.  I love looking back to see the progress being made.  It is safe to say that there is progress being made.

At his two year appointment Logan was 23 lbs (4%) 34.25" inches high (46%) and head circumference of 19" (39%).  His Dr. said as long as he is gaining weight he isn't worried about his weight.

So at 2 years and almost 2 months -

Logan loves milk - in fact that is about the only thing he eats consistently.  So we bring on the whole milk gladly.

Oh I am wrong about that being the only thing he eats consistently.  If it has sugar, is candy, is sweet he will eat it happily.

He doesn't like veggies so we work those in with sweet green smoothies.  He will eat yogurt and cheese.  Sometimes bread.  Most fruit.  That about sums it up.  oh and juice.

He loves James - calls him "May".  He just learned how to say his own name.

He started climbing out of the pack-in-play that we used for naps.  So we have converted to a big boy bed and we are going through a rough transition.

He is totally two and has had tantrums over everything.  EVERYTHING.

He still loves me, mom, the best.

His favorite things are Lion Silk (his blanket), Puppy AKA woof woof or woofies, and an old mini mouse doll that my sister and I have been trying to give to each other for years.  Currently I am the keeper and Logan is the lover of the doll.  He calls her Mi mi.

He is so into Frozen it is crazy.  He calls it ANNA.

He is doing lots better in nursery if he has one of his blankets with him.

He is particular about what he wears.  It is awful.

He talks and talks and talks and sometimes we understand him and sometimes we don't.

He screams if he is frustrated or bothered or angry.  We have a lot of screaming going on right now.

We wants to do everything James is doing.

He still takes two naps most days.

He loves trucks and guys - bad guys, swords (hitting), balls, baseball bats (hitting).

He is sweet and loving most times.  I love his cuddles.

Thats our Logan these days.

JULY!!!

We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July this year and were super lucky to have Rocky home with us.  One of my best friends here in Alabama came over with her kids and we were planning on doing fireworks on our own without husbands.  So we went super simple.  Poppers, sparklers and a couple bigger for us fireworks.  Luckily Rocky was able to come home last minute from work and join in the fun.  We let him be the official firework man.  He did great until our last firework which shot to the neighbors house.  There was a moment of panic but it quickly passed and everything was okay.

I'm not quite sure how Logan managed to walk away burnless from the sparkler event.  I saw this cool idea with using plastic cups with the sparklers to prevent burns.  We will do that in the future.

James was overly cautious like always and almost didn't have a good time because he was so worried about getting burned.
The kids watching our big firework show.  You can see how exciting it was - Logan couldn't even watch.
All the kids. We have been blessed with such great friends.
More craziness - this time in the tub.  These boys were cracking me up and I had to take photos of the event.

Our first time participating with the Chick-fil-a dress like a cow day.  It was so fun and we will for sure do it again.
Logan turned 2 - more on that in another post
We have really been into Legos at this house.  This was one of Mom/James creations.
Enjoying a beautiful day at the park.
This is what is typically happening at our house.
Snow cone FHE with the crew.
James LOVED his pirate shadow and needed me to take a photo.

Finishing out June

Logan discovered how to take selfies on the ipad.  I was so happy when I found these.  There weren't too many (like the hundreds of pictures James has been known to take of the same thing/ same angle) just the right amount.

James and Logan can be the best of friends and worst of friends all in a few minutes time.  This was a good moment and so fun.  I love when play like this.  They were getting a kick out of both being spiderman.

James though this was a really great picture of me.
Funny Logan, he is learning how to use the ipad, I think this lesson was on what is the correct distance for viewing.  In this particular photo he is demonstrating an incorrect distance.
Ah, the Gardendale Spash pad.  We love going there.  Wish it were closer but we will take what we can get.

Another moment of being the best of friends.  This is the Firemen and their Truck.
