Wait... it's been a long time

HI, I am just checking in and catching up:)  Here are a collection of pictures since my last post.  My Daughter and Granddaughters had a day full of fun and shopping at the antique mall.

We always find the hats, my hat looks like one my Sister Barbara wore.  She is with me in spirit always.

Brooklyn and Jameson came for a Christmas sleepover, crafting is their favorite thing to do when they visit.

Jameson's team won their baseball championship.  I couldn't remember if I had shared this picture or not, so here it is anyway.  Now he is also a wrestler!

We celebrated Autumn's 30th birthday!

My Niece Britani had her little baby girl a few weeks early.  Meet Piper, she is adorable!

Weather happened this weekend.  Mostly ice, my yellow bells are confused and blooming after a warm spell.  

The camelia tree is blooming also with icicles hanging from the leaves!

This was what we had yesterday.  I stayed in all day and honestly have a bit of cabin fever.

Now, I am getting busy doing some much needed chores.  I hope all of my blog friends are doing well.  It is SO hard for me to take the time to post these days.  I always say that I am gonna do better and months go by before I sit down with my laptop.  Take care my friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

So much to talk about...

We have a new addition since my last post, Jackson Derek was born on August 19th.  He had a rough start, stayed in NICU for a bit but is ALL good now!  Brooklyn and Jameson are the best Big Brother and Sister.  This makes 3 GREAT-Children for US and we are SO happy!

A growing family!

I went on a GIRLS trip to celebrate my Step-Daughter Anna's 50th birthday!  We had the best time and I was beyond excited to be included.

I made a picture board for Anna and she loved it.

Tracy and I went to the Yellow Daisy Festival like we always do.  I enjoy that day SO much!

We have spent lots of evenings and Saturdays at the ballfield...

Jameson has played his little heart out, he got the game ball at this game.  His team has won ALL 12 games with the championship tournament tomorrow and Saturday.  To say we have enjoyed it is an understatement.

Marc and I celebrated our 40th anniversary on October 12th with a trip to Helen.

The sites were the same, still beautiful!  We walked all over town, had lots of good food and I enjoyed some shopping at my favorite shops.

Happy 40th to the love of my life.  Can't wait to see what the future holds for us.  We look forward to the next years together while also enjoying a look back.

We had a family reunion this past weekend for my Daddy's family!  There were 9 siblings and most all were represented at this reunion.

Thank you Billie Jo for checking on me and giving me the nudge I needed to make a post.  I miss blogging, when you get out of the habit, it's hard to get started again.  I will TRY to do better.

I missed Spring...

On April 17th I had my shoulder surgery.  4 weeks in a sling 24/7 and now I am in Physical Therapy twice a week.  It has been hard but I am recovering and doing everything I can to get full use of my shoulder.  ALL that said, that's where I have been and what I have been doing!  But... life goes on and here is a catch-up post.

Our Granddaughter Madison is a Marine.  We are SO proud of her and happy that we were there to witness her graduating from Boot Camp at Parris Island.

Madison is off on her training journey.  I can't wait to hear all about it.

The little ones came for a sleepover at Easter time and right before my surgery.  They added their special touch to the little Bunny Banner.

Jameson Graduated from Pre-K.  Look at that sweet smile.

Of course we were there...

And now he is off to Kindergarten in the Fall...

You know I have to show some flowers.  The hydrangeas are beautiful this year.  We have had a LOT of rain and that sure makes them even more gorgeous.

My gardenias have provided a bouquet for many weeks.  This gardenia is different than the others.  It is feathery.  The scent is heavenly.

We celebrated Jameson's 5th birthday a little early.

Because they were off on a Disney cruise... 

and a day at Disney when the ship returned.

Good morning my friends...

I haven't posted in a while, so doing a little catching up this morning:)  Flowers are blooming and I SO love this time of year.  These were transplanted from a friend that I used to work with.  LOVE shared flowers.

More shared flowers, yellow bells.  My Brother Leon shared them many years ago and I love seeing the bright yellow blooms every year.

This was a gift from my Step-daughter Anna for Christmas.  It is a small puzzle and was very hard but I stayed with it until it was finished.  Isn't it pretty, I am going to hang it for the hummingbirds to see when they visit:)

More pretties...  They don't last long but I sure enjoy them while they are blooming.

My little 1st grader Great-granddaughter Brooklyn.  She was asked by her last year Kindergarten teacher to read to the Kindergarten class.  This girl LOVES to read.

The little ones come for a sleepover and had new riding toys waiting on them.  Oh how they enjoyed riding in the driveway.  Makes me smile:)

Just a little luncheon get-together to make an announcement...

The announcement... A little brother is on the way.  Arriving in September.  We are over-the-moon happy and so are Brooklyn and Jameson.

That's a little of what I have been up to.  Working on getting the pool ready for Summer swimmers.  I hope all of you are doing well.  Sorry for the many breaks I take from Blogging, but I still pop in occasionally.  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
