Busy weekend and NO COOKIES!

We have tournaments this weekend and lost a heart-breaker last night!  Up 5-1 and ended up losing, home late, in bed at midnight!  Yikes, makes for a sleepy Saturday morning!  Alex has a game this morning and more tournaments for Ms. Autumn!

I have had trouble lately leaving comments and some have said that they have had trouble leaving me comments!  I seem to be getting a "no cookies" message!  I love cookies and have been trying to stay away from them to lose a few pounds but what the heck?  Obviously you need some cookies for commenting to work!  Anyway, I am going to the HELP area to see what needs to be done.  Anybody else having problems?

I got up early this morning and watched THE wedding!  It was wonderful, orderly and I was amazed at the beauty of it all!

SOOOO many people waiting for that kiss on the balcony!  The hats were gorgeous, makes me want one:)

Too CLOSE for comfort!

Well Ladies, I was prepared... went into my closet at 12:29 AM and Tracy gathered her family in their basement!  It was so scary to see our streets (Tracy and mine) on the map showing where the tornado was headed!  I am thankful that it fizzled out before it hit us!  WE ARE FINE but SOOOO many are not!

So many dead, so many sad families!  I am thankful this morning and praying for all!  Hope you are ALL Ok!  Love and prayers!

Making a plan, you got one?

I am putting together a BAD weather plan for my home!  Do you have one?  Do you know where in your house is the safest place to go if storms come your way?  If not, do it!  I have been watching floods and tornadoes ALL over the Country!  Houses are blown completely away and we ALL need to be prepared!  I know that lots of my Family Members read my blog, some comment and some don't!  Get a plan together folks!  Be ready!  I am packing a bucket, suitcase, or tub TODAY!  I will put it in my OAK closet that goes up under my steps!  Batteries, flashlight, hard drive, papers that are hard to replace and SOME pictures!  I have a weather radio, and I am getting it charged up!  Do you watch the news and see those people who lose their entire homes?  It happens people and I don't want to sit here UNPREPARED!  So... I am up and at 'em getting it done!  For those of you who have Children on a different floor, make a plan... where to go and what to do!  That's it, Ganky's thoughts on preparing for bad weather!  Love you all and praying that the preparing is wasted:)  HUGS!

Not much Monday!

I spent my Monday catching up on laundry!  Not very exciting but I had not washed clothes since we returned from Hawaii!  I just kept putting it off!  Today it is done and my laundry room looks like a closet!  I hang most of our clothes up while damp so they don't wrinkle!  Austin had a ballgame and it turned out to be a really good one!  Dancing with the Stars and bedtime!  Not as exciting as Easter Sunday, but they can't all be THAT exciting!

OK, that's about it for my Tuesday morning!  My Niece, Britani is coming over today to help me move some stuff around!  I always enjoy spending time with her and she is a big help!

Easter 2011-NO FAMILY PICTURE:(

I just forgot!  For the last few years, I have made a HUGE family picture of those who were in attendance!  I just slap forgot!  After many had left, I remembered and just had to say OH WELL... Next year, someone please help me remember!  We had a wonderful time with family and friends!  Lunch was awesome and the smiles on the little ones faces hunting eggs always makes me happy!

Easter Morning 2011

I went to visit my Mama and Daddy yesterday at the Cemetery!  I took them beautiful crosses made out of baby blue eggs!  There was already an Easter Lily from another Sibling!  I cleaned the weeds and chatted with them a little, telling them all about what was going on in our family!  I told them about Justin in the Marine Corps and about all of our precious family members!  I told them that we were having Easter at Barbara's and that she was making Potato Salad!  I told them Cindy was making WAY TOO MANY DELICIOUS CAKES!  I told them that we were having Chicken and an Easter Egg Hunt!  But... you know what, they already knew most of that!  Ya' know why?  TRADITION!  It has always been a tradition in our Family!  Easter Sunday, Church, lunch, egg hunt!  That is what we do, that is what we'll do:)  ALWAYS AND FOREVER!  If you have Parents, love them, hug them and see them EVERY chance you get!  I DID:) and I'll see them again in Heaven!

Yesterday was S-P-E-C-I-A-L!!!!!!!!!  Up and at 'em... coffee, raisin toast and off to the School!  Alex was having "show and tell"!  She wanted Britani's little puppy dog to come, Dixie!  So that is what we did, ALL of us grouped up to take Dixie to Alex's class!  Cutiepatootie!  Alex was soooo proud!  Thank you Britani and Dixie:)

Can you hear my heart beat when I see that sweet Marine?  I am beyond PROUD!  He is precious!  He LOVES these little ones:)

I know, he is a Marine BUT to this PROUD AUNT... He is precious!  I love you Justin, I pray for your safety DAILY!  God, please keep this Marine safe!

The rest of the afternoon was spent with Avery!  We had so much fun and she WORE Pa out "IN a good way"! 

They laughed and giggled and giggled and laughed:)  We walked up to the mailbox twice and just really enjoyed our time together!

Sweet Welcome Home!

Well we have been home for almost a week now from our wonderful vacation!  It was great to get back home, IN MY OWN BED and drinking my own coffee AND blogging:)  So, I thought I would share some of the beauty that I had waiting on me upon arrival!  FIVE inches wide!
