Spring Ritual

On this windy spring day, flurries of falling blossoms carpet all that stands beneath. A lazy blossom drizzle is tempered with frisky spring gusts.

The driveway is alive. At first the petals lay dormant. It’s peppered with dots of blossoms all over the place. Then they were taken over by a gust that started a ground swirl of blossoms. Which swiftly Morphs to a curve, such flair, swaying to and fro.

Much like waves hugging the shore in a fetching spring dance. Such a mesmerizing experience. Calming.

Lilacs & Linas Broom

So far this spring there is no sign of life on the Lina’s broom (the orange one). It looks dry and twiggy from bottom to top. I guess it’s done. No warning. Oh well!

Thursday Doors

saw this door while moving around doing chores this week. I had to do a turn around the block to get a good shot.

One and done.

A good Easter weekend to all!

For Thursday Doors over at No with Dan. If this feels weird to you. Me too. My good old google phone died. My daughter dragged me kicking and screaming to “I-Phone” country. Now, I don’t know what I’m doing. But I’ll get there sooner or later.

My kid who is now my mother insisted! She paid… so why not!

To visit Dan and check out other doors go here

Hyacinth

This hyacinth, among others are in a pot right outside my back door. Each time I open the door to go out into my garden I am gifted with the unbelievable scent of hyacinth.

A good Monday to all!

Taken in my garden today. No, this is not the one that was in return mode for spring. This one I got at the plant store a week or so ago, in full bloom. A pair of bees found out about it and came visiting. They were huge! Beautiful!
