The flashlight didn't work, so the photo is a bit dark. I still have to finish the last ornament of this series, but couldn't resist to subscribe to the new series. You can see a picture of the first ornament of the 2011 series
here.Another new project I am going to start is the Henrietta Wiskers free 2011 BOM from
Bunny Hill Designs. Henrietta is a very cute squirrel! I have been digging in my stash already and thought it would be a challenge to use leftovers of the Thimbleberries fabrics again. I probably still have enough of them left, even after having used quite a pile of them for the Snowbound quilt, and found this collection of required beige fabrics in a box. And otherwise I will have a very good reason to go shopping for some new fabrics ;o))

The lab report of Julius' growth said that the edges still had malignant cells in the muscle side: the tumor hasn't been totally removed last week as we did hope. It is a very nasty and fast growing type of cancer. Now we have to decide if we'll try once more to remove everything, which means another major surgery next week to cut out as much of the muscle tissue as possible, with a very uncertain outcome. The thing could already have been spread all over too. Or do nothing and love Julius as long as possible, living a happy life without any pain and suffering. A very hard decision!
