Month: December 2014

All is Merry and Bright

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is going to see the lights. The boys are absolutely obsessed with Christmas lights. They beg to put up strands in their rooms and keep them up all month long. We love to see the Roy City lights. And we love driving around to see the houses that synchronize their lights to music. We even celebrate the Swedish holiday Santa Lucia which commemorates the return of the light. I am so grateful to have light in our lives. The light of joy. The light of truth. The light of love. The light of Christ.

Big Chief

I am ridiculously behind on posting my pictures. Life is moving at a whirlwind pace, but I love every second of it. Hyrum came home from Kindergarten just before Thanksgiving sporting an Indian vest and headdress, and he was so proud. He posed very seriously as I took his picture. I think he’s way too pale to carry off the look, but he’s still pretty cute.
