Look Ma No Hands.

When we decode a cookbook, every one of us is a practicing chemist. Cooking is really the oldest, most basic application of physical and chemical forces to natural materials. ~ Arthur E Grosser

How to Boil Water

Source: worth1000.com

Required:

bullet Water
bullet Pot

Instructions:

bullet Pour water into pot.
bullet Place pot on stove.
bullet Turn stove on high.
bullet Sit back and enjoy waiting for the water come to a boil.
bullet Small bubbles that stay at the bottom or sides of the pot are air bubbles present in the water; they don’t necessarily indicate that boiling is imminent.  Wait for bubbles that rise to the top of the pot!

Tips:

bullet Take care when selecting a pot: make certain the pot is large enough to hold all of the water you wish to boil.
bullet We recommend that a lid be used, placed on top of the pot (after the water is in the pot) – with the lid on, the water in the pot boils faster.
bullet We recommend that you select a pot that has a handle as this makes it easier to pour the water out, when needed, once it has boiled.
