How to Boil Water

Required:

Water |

Pot |
Instructions:
|
Pour water into pot. |
|
Place pot on stove. |
|
Turn stove on high. |
|
Sit back and enjoy waiting for the water come to a boil. |
|
Small bubbles that stay at the bottom or sides of the pot are air bubbles present in the water; they don’t necessarily indicate that boiling is imminent. Wait for bubbles that rise to the top of the pot! |
Tips:
|
Take care when selecting a pot: make certain the pot is large enough to hold all of the water you wish to boil. |
|
We recommend that a lid be used, placed on top of the pot (after the water is in the pot) – with the lid on, the water in the pot boils faster. |
|
We recommend that you select a pot that has a handle as this makes it easier to pour the water out, when needed, once it has boiled. |
