Have you wanted to live in one of those houses that look perfect, like in Fixer Upper or another decorating show? Well, I thought it would be interesting, but I didn’t think it would happen.
Enter: New job, moving to a new state, selling our house, SO in order to help our house sell, our realtor introduced us to a stager that came in last Wednesday and made our house look like a model house! We saw how it looked, and then took off to our new home for a few days. Seeing our home so clean and pretty brought a peace to my mind that I had not had for a while.
Now, how is it living in this beautiful home? Well, it is harder than it looks! Since our house is on the market, we have to make sure everything is all in its exact place that the stager placed it when we leave. It is like living in a hotel. I’m enjoying how beautiful the pillows look on the bed, but it holds me back from just flopping on the bed to rest…it is harder to just live in.
I’m thankful for this experience and that it will help our house sell. I’m thankful we only have to live in this kind of house for a few days and then we can get back to living in a not perfect place.
