The Transition of Spring

A few weeks ago my sister and I, with our kids, explored a botanical garden in Illinois, and here are a few of the first flowers blooming there! The weather was nice and warm (I didn’t bring a sweater for myself), but then part way through our visit, the wind changed, and the temperature Continue reading

Let Spring Break Commence!

This afternoon when I released the students to head home, my spring break began. I still have a meeting tomorrow, but it doesn’t feel like work because I do not have to manage students for a whole week and a half!
Spring break has begun! Happy Wednesday. 🌿

The New Hope of Spring

I love a new hope spring blossoms bring when you see them unfurling after a long winter snow. Living in a climate with four seasons is enjoyable because I love the variety and the change that happens in the weather and in nature. Sometimes winter grays and browns is depressing, but springs whites and pinks renews hope.
