We build forts under the kitchen table when it's too cold to play outside.
This little Mini is a bit obsessed with gymnastics. She finds anything she can around the house to hang on, slide down, or climb up. And she has absolutely ZERO FEAR! Mom on the other hand is a train wreck when I turn around and see her getting ready to jump off ledges. She counts to three and thinks she's peter pan and she'll just fly. In moments of panic I can't figure out 1) if she's going to jump before I can get to her and 2) how the hell did she get herself up there?!
Ashton is making a certain noise right here in the grocery cart. It's a specific noise that makes me laugh so hard and I ask her to do it all the time but only when I'm lucky I get to hear it. And this picture kills me because when I look at it I swear I can HEAR her howling!

The bugs go to The Little Gym once a week for gymnastics. They are so funny to watch. Sometimes they are all about it and other times they just want to watch other children do things. But every time, Ashton gets overly excited to clap for herself or anyone else who accomplishes something. She gets so proud of people. Lindsey is strong! Scary strong...she's the smallest in the class, no question, but might be the strongest. I just wish she was a little more up front and center. Even though she's fearless; She is my little shy one in crowds but somehow this child downright runs our household!! The girls are in the same class as their cousin, Steele, and I like to see those three interact. They love their "nastics" class!

I found this lovely art work on every wall in my upstairs. No Ashton is not crying, I was disciplining and telling them it was naughty and we only color on paper or the sidewalk and this was their reaction. Total laughter! But they knew they shouldn't be laughing so Ashton tried to hold it in by covering her mouth. Then I took a picture to document.....
...and Linny thought it was a photo shoot and ran over to another wall she so nicely decorated and started waving, smiling and saying cheese. Needless to say she was very proud and excited. I was not. Not to mention it took me about an hour to clean off all my walls that night.
'Little Gym'nastics
Golfing at gym class, I was seriously impressed with her skills. Held the little club with two hands and tore it up. I'm sure Shane has plans for Santa to bring her some pink golf clubs???
I kid you not, I turned the corner and saw her dressed like this just chillin on the steps. She put on all the loot herself and was very serious about wearing it for most of the day. And she obviously is good at stashing binki's...because I'm always taking them away and she always has one 'pop' up.
More gym class
This is just funny to me
Halloween...
The Bugs were BUGS this year!!
My little 'bummie bee' as Lindsey says it and my sensitive ladybug, Ashton
The next day they wanted to wear their princess clothes WITH the shoes and wand of course, but NOT the crown! No no heavens no they did not want that crown on!!
Lately, they've been holding hands almost everywhere they go.
OMG! Literally they're singing "Ring Around the Rosies"...
Lindsey calls it "Pocket Rosies" and Ash just says "Rosies"
"....and we all fall....DOOOWN!!"
Lindsey screams 'again!' almost before the song is even over!
I don't know what I'd ever do without my girls... they are my whole world and I love how sentimental and loving they are towards one another!! These two always bring light into my life.
