Kindergarten--week 28

This week was letter "Z":

It was also the week of learning about zoo animals:

More work with numbers, adding and subtracting:

Working with more words:

Hannah made up a song about her cat, Dino. Dino sometimes likes to sleep by our heads at night so Hannah had to sing about that. :) She brought in her ukulele and sang it for the whole class. Loved how the teacher was so supportive. Here are the words to the song and her teacher writing that she loved it :):

Hannah also brought home the rest of the projects she made during Dr. Seuss weeks:
(The hair was made with Hannah's hand print :). I love it!)

Kindergarten--week 27

This week was the week of conferences. I always get a bit nervous for conferences and I don't think that will ever change. :)

Hannah has done so great and I'm so very proud of her!! I know she has an amazing teacher which is a big reason why she is doing so well.

She decorated her file folder for conferences:

(She says she drew kisses on the folder....aww :))

Here are her progress reports. She's doing awesome! I'm just so proud of her

We also got her first and second trimester journals. I was amazed at her progress from the beginning of the year until now:

She also brought home some papers she has been working on with numbers and shapes:

She drew this picture:

For the reading challenge for March, it is a rainbow. For each 3 reading slips, they get to pick out a gold coin at the end of the rainbow
