Kindergarten--week 31

This week was letter K:

And learning about animals including elephants, monkeys, lions and ducks:

It was my birthday this week. :) So on my birthday, my mom and I went and had lunch with Hannah and the rest of her class. They had a muffin with candles in it for me and also sang "Happy Birthday". It was just too cute. :) Perfect way to spend my birthday!

Kindergarten--week 30

This week was L week:

Hannah learned more about farm animals:

On this book, the kids had to figure out which color belonged in the blank by figuring out which word rhymed with the last word. Then they colored the hen:

This was also the last week for the chicks. It was exciting watching them hatch!

Kindergarten--week 29

This week was learning all about farm animals. Made me miss the farm a lot!

It was also "E" week:

Also lots of work with numbers, adding and subtraction. Either that or Hannah had a bunch of work that she just now got around to bringing home....I'm guessing it's the latter. :)

I think this is so cool. They brought chicken eggs to school so the kids could watch them hatch. They were hoping they would start hatching next week but by the end of this week, one had already hatched and another one had cracked! Here is Hannah and her friend, Vivianne, in front of the eggs:
