4 months today!!

Makinlee is 4 months old. Wow, where has time gone? Makinlee has been such a great blessing in our family. She is truely my little sunshine!! Everytime she smiles at me(which is all the time) she melts my heart. I love her with all my heart. She is truely a miracle from God. Some of the things that she is doing are:
  • smiling

  • cooing

  • found her hands

  • grabs for things

  • laughing

  • still not sleeping through the night :(

  • getting chubby...at least Tyler and I think so! Anyone else would think that she is skinny but healthy. She is chubby considering what she was when she was born.

Makinlee Mom, Dad and Kasen love you so much!! Life is so much brighter with you!!

A Sunday to Remember

This last Sunday, March 7, 2010 was a very special day. We Blessed Makinlee and it was Kasen's 3rd Birthday. How special it was to have both families and friends together to celebrate these specail occasions.
Our cute little family.
Kasen looks so happy!!
Grandma and Grandpa Kearl

Grandma and Grandpa Warner

Rodney, Makinlee, Caleb, Gil and Taycee

There were so many babies there we thought it would be fun to take a picture with all of them together. It was quite fun!! On the Kearl side there was 3 babies born within about a month. Makinlee was the first on November 27. My sister Jodi had Gil on December 30. My sister-in-law Amy had Rodney on January 3. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have children around the same time my sibilings are having kids. I am the youngest of 4 in my family. I was born 11 years after my 3 other sibilings so they could have been done along time ago but I lucked out!!

Spring has Sprung!!!

These flowers just bloomed this week in my front yard. So Pretty!!

There is a little feeling of Spring in the air. The other day I took Makinlee out for the first time, to just sit outside. Kasen played with bubbles with Tyler and Makinlee and I soaked up some vitamin D. Bring on the warm weather!!

I heart Makinlee's Bumbo chair

If any of you moms out there with young ones, haven't tried the Bumbo chair, you are missing out. This is a fun little chair that your baby is able to sit in once they can hold their head up. It gives them another way to look at their surroundings. Here is a picture of Makinlee hangin' out in her Bumbo chair for the first time.

Kasen + puzzels= Content Boy!!

After dinner one evening Tyler and Kasen sat at the table and put together puzzles. Kasen loves, loves, loves puzzles. I love my boys!!

Kasen and Makinlee

Before Makinlee was born everyone warned me that when baby #2 comes along, Kasen will want to be right there in the babies face, helping. Well, I am lucky because Kasen really doesn't pay much attention to Makinlee. Occasionally he will want to hold her or give her a love on her head. I have been lucky. I think when Makinlee gets a little older Kasen will realize that Makinlee isn't a threat to him and they will be buddies.

I wanted a picture with Makinlee and Kasen but you can tell that Kasen didn't want to get any closer to Makinlee than what he is.

After alittle bribe I got him to sit closer.

Kasen's Train- A Lifesaver!!

This was my lifesaver this winter. Kasen spent alot of time playing with his train. Besides it taking up most of the family room, I was very grateful for it. Another lifesaver this winter was the wii. Kasen ate, slept, walked, pooped wii. Every waking moment he wanted to play the wii, Crossbow Training game. Now we know how much he loves the wii, we are trying to potty train and bribe him with the wii. Wish us luck!!
