Superheroes, skateboards and strategic change… Not necessarily the combination you’d expect from Airmic’s new CEO. In her first interview as CEO, Diane Maxwell reflects on the challenges shaping today’s risk landscape and what comes next for Airmic. From strengthening member voice and modernising digital engagement, to captives, neurodiversity and supporting organisations through increasing complexity, Diane shares her priorities and why healthy debate matters more than ever. And yes… visitors to the Airmic office may spot some of Diane’s superhero artwork too! We couldn’t agree more with Airmic CEO Diane Maxwell. What a week at Global Risk Summit and BIBA! #riskmanagement #insurance
What a week! Global Risk Summit, then BIBA -hard to capture the energy and wisdom of it all in a post. Progress on AI was probably the highlight for me - using it, governing it, scaling it, measuring it, understanding it, and managing the risks. I may still be on a high from all that free merch and conversation but I think the past 12 months has been a pretty significant (and positive) period of change.

The energy at yesterday’s Global Risk Summit said it all. Rooms full of debate, members reconnecting, new conversations starting and plenty of honest discussion on everything from AI and cyber to geopolitics, climate and resilience. London Risk Week has got off to an incredible start! Airmic was proud to support the event as a sponsor alongside the City of London Corporation, London Market Group and organisations from across the market. The energy across the week has been incredible and the conversations happening across the City show why collaboration matters more than ever. If it’s on your risk register, chances are it’s being discussed somewhere across London this week. Don’t miss out and come and join the conversation! Fantastic to bump into Jordane Terrasse, Lisa Meredith, Cleo Curl ACII CMIRM, Andrew Morgan #GlobalRiskSummit #GRS2026 #LondonRiskWeek #RiskManagement #Insurance #Resilience #CyberRisk #Geopolitics #AI

The latest episode of The Influencers is out! Join Diane Maxwell, CEO of Airmic, alongside Tom Hughes from the International Underwriting Association and Karishma Paroha from Hogan Lovells. Big questions, big risks and a refreshingly honest conversation. From cyber threats and AI to quantum computing and systemic risk, Diane explores why technology is both a solution and a source of new uncertainty, why adoption often lags behind ambition, and why curiosity, humility and the confidence to say “I don’t know” are becoming essential leadership traits. Worth a listen. 🎧 https://lnkd.in/epciE2iY #RiskManagement #CyberRisk #AI #Leadership #Resilience
